A3! Season Autumn & Winter

Synopsis

The Mankai Theater Troupe is an all-male theater troupe facing a major problem: it's down to its last member, and debt collectors are knocking at its door. Now it's up to Izumi Tachibana, the troupe's director and daughter of the previous director, Yukio Tachibana, to find a way to save the troupe and restore her father's theater to the popularity of its glory days.

Background

A3!, short for Act! Hooked! Actors!, began as a mobile game developed by Liber Entertainment. The anime adaptation was announced in February 2019 and is divided into two parts, A3! Spring & Summer Season and A3! Fall & Winter Season. None A3! Spring & Summer Season began airing in January 2020, and A3! Fall & Winter Season was scheduled to begin airing in July but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The anime is directed by Masayuki Sakoi at PAWorks, with series composition by Naoki Hayashi, Nozomi Nagatomo adapting Ryo Fujiwara's original character designs for animation, and Masaru Yokoyama and Kana Hashiguchi creating the music. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 12 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. It will be available for overseas streaming via Funimation.

Autumn Troupe
Banri Settsu (Voiced by: Chiharu Sawashiro)
Leader of the Autumn Troop, Banri is a highly competitive delinquent who excels in both academics and sports.

Juza Hyodo (Voice of: Shunsuke Takeuchi)
A tough, lone delinquent, Juza had wanted to do theater since elementary school but was afraid of what his classmates might think. He has a passion for theater stronger than any other member of the group.

Taichi Nanao (Voice of: Kento Hama)
Taichi, a playboy at heart, joined the group to become popular with the girls. He's a mood maker who treats everyone equally.

Omi Fushimi (Voice of: Kentaro Kumagai)
Omi grew up in a family of four men after his mother's death and became adept at housework. He has a calm and mature personality.

Sakyo Furuichi (Voice of: Yoichi Hose)
Sakyo is a yakuza member of the Ginsenkai. He joins the group to help them get back on their feet as an accountant.

Azami Izumida (Voice of: Seiya Konishi)
Azami is the only son of the Ginsenkai president, and he argues with his father about his dream of becoming a makeup artist. He has a mature appearance.

Winter Troop
Tsumugi Tsukioka (Voice of: Atsushi Tamaru)
Tsumugi, the leader of the Winter Troupe, is a childhood friend of Tasuku and aspired to perform in the same troupe as him in college. He has a gentle and shy personality.

Tasuku Takato (Voice of: Takuya Sato)
Tasuku is Tsumugi's childhood friend, and they were part of the same theater group until college. He is serious, stoic, and a little clumsy.

Hisoka Mikage (Voice of: Junta Terashima)
Hisoka suffers from memory loss and has the ability to fall asleep anytime, anywhere. Although calm by nature, he is a talented actor. He often sneaks away from training to take a nap.

Homare Arisugawa (Voiced by: Toshiyuki Toyonaga)
Homare is a well-known poet who has published several books. He is a natural artist with an eccentric demeanor.

Azuma Yukishiro (Voice of: Tetsuya Kakihara)
Azuma is handsome and loves to improve himself. He has a calm personality and likes to do things at his own pace.

Guys (Voiced by: Satoshi Hino)
Guy is a self-proclaimed android from the Kingdom of Zafra. He rarely shows emotion.

Izumi Tachibana (Voice of: Kaori Nazuka)
Director of Mankai Corporation and daughter of the previous director, Yukio Tachibana, Izumi takes over her father's legacy in an effort to save the company.
