Aho Girl
Summary
Aho Girl: Clueless Girl is a slice-of-life shounen anime adaptation of the four-panel manga "Oh My Girl" by manga creator Hiroyuki. The story follows Yoshiko Hanabatake, a high-energy high school student who lacks both academic and social intelligence. Luckily, she has a few friends who keep her from making a fool of herself.

Yoshiko Hanabatake
The main character, Yoshiko, loves bananas and is very energetic despite her constant failures in academic and social life.
Akuru Akutsu
Yoshiko's neighbor and childhood friend, Akuru, is the opposite of her. He is serious, intelligent, and prefers to spend his time studying before anything else.
Sayaka Sumino
A classmate and friend of Akuru and Yoshiko, Sayaka is sensible, though she is known to lose her patience and can be quite sensitive.
President of the Public Morals Commission
No one knows her name, but everyone knows she doesn't like Yoshiko at all. However, she stalks and has lewd fantasies about Akuru. She is unaware of his strange reputation.
Yoshie Hanabatake
Yoshiko's worried mother, Yoshie hopes her daughter will marry Akuru and even deliberately creates opportunities for them to flirt, which is often fruitless.
Dog
A dog that Yoshiko and Akuru both love.
Ryuichi Kurosaki
A shy delinquent who sees Yoshiko as her big sister.
Atsuko Oshieda
Yoshiko's homeroom teacher does her best to teach her despite her best efforts. She is single and unhappy.
Ruri Akutsu
Akuru's little sister who hopes she doesn't become as stupid as Yoshiko one day.
Akane Eimura
The leader of a trio of Gyaru girls in Yoshiko's class. She doesn't like Yoshiko even though she's as dumb as she is.
Kii Hiiragi
Another gyaru girl in Yoshiko's class.
Kuroko Shiina
Another gyaru girl in Yoshiko's class and the only one of the three to have a boyfriend who she is shy about.
