Starring in Kimetsu no Yaiba
Ai Kakuma voices Makomo in the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) . In a radio interview, she stated that for her role, even though she didn't have many lines to say, she thought it was really fun. It was a very important role in Tanjiro Kamado 's character development, since most of the other characters are harsh with Tanjiro, she feels like Makomo plays a role in giving him a place of peace, a place to rest. In another interview, she stated that her first impression of Makomo was that she was quite a cute character with her appearance because of her outfit and mask.
Debut as a voice actress
After graduating from high school, she worked as an office worker for four years to relieve stress on her family.
