Anime Series Episodes - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)

In the anime series Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer), there are a total of 26 episodes ( Season 1 ). There has been no official news or announcement about the release date of Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2. Therefore, the episodes have not been released yet.

Season 1 Episodes

1. Cruelty:
During the Taisho era, a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado and his family live peacefully on a remote mountain. One day, when Tanjirou returns from selling charcoal in town, he finds the remains of his family slaughtered by a demon. The only survivor is his sister Nezuko , and he carries his sister up the snowy mountain to seek help. However, she transforms into a demon and attacks him. A demon hunter, Giyu Tomioka , arrives and attempts to behead Nezuko. Tanjirou protects his sister and promises her that she will never eat humans. Giyu decides to let the siblings go and sends them to see Sakonji Urokodaki on Mount Sagiri.

2. Coach Sakonji Urokodaki:
Tanjiro and Nezuko head to Mount Sagiri. On the way, the brother is attacked by a man-eating demon and manages to subdue it. Unsure how to kill the demon, Sakonji Urokodaki appears and orders him to crush its head. Tanjiro hesitates until daybreak, and the sunlight kills the demon instead. Urokodaki scolds Tanjiro for his weak resolve and kindness. Despite this, Urokodaki takes Tanjiro to the top of Mount Sagiri and tells him to return at dawn. At first, Tanjiro struggles with the traps and thin air of the mountain. He overcomes this by using his keen sense of smell. Tanjiro returns at dawn, and Urokodaki accepts him as his disciple.

3. Sabito and Makomo:
Over the next six months, Urokodaki trains Tanjiro for the final selection of the Demon Slayer Corps. The Demon Slayer Corps is an organization that hunts demons. One day, Urokodaki promises Tanjiro that he will let him participate in the final selection if he can slice a rock with his sword. Tanjiro fails to slice the rock for the next six months. Just as he is about to give up, two children with fox masks, Sabito and Makomo, appear before him and help him train. The two reveal to him that they are orphans and also disciples of Urokodaki. Another six months pass, and Tanjiro's blade finally reaches Sabito and cuts his mask in half. The two disappear without saying a word, and Tanjiro reveals that he had actually cut the rock instead.

4. Final selection:
To pass the final selection, participants must survive for seven full days on Mount Fujikasane, where demons captured by the Demon Slayers are imprisoned. Tanjiro uses the breathing technique and sword stances he learned from Urokodaki to defeat the demons, until he encounters the Hand Demon . The Hand Demon, captured by Urokodaki, confesses to killing 13 of his students, including Sabito and Makomo. Tanjiro attacks the Demon in a rage and successfully decapitates it.

5. My own steel:
After 7 days, Tanjiro and four others are the only survivors and they all pass the test. They are given uniforms and Kasugai crows and they choose an ore for their own Nichirin sword. Tanjiro returns to Nezuko and Urokodaki. 15 days later, Tanjiro's Nichirin sword is delivered by Haganezuka and when he wields the sword, it turns black. Tanjiro receives his first mission from the Kasugai crow and is ordered to go to the northwest city and eliminate the demon responsible for the girls' disappearance.

6. Swordsman accompanying a demon:
Tanjiro arrives in the town where young girls disappear at night. He meets Kazumi, whose fiancée also disappeared the night before. Tanjiro uses his keen sense of smell and picks up the scent of a nearby demon, but it is nowhere to be seen. Night falls, and another girl is abducted by a demon, whom Tanjiro immediately notices. Swamp Demon uses a "Blood Demon Art" and travels underground, splitting into three. Tanjiro and Nezuko fight the demon together.

7. Muzan Kibutsuji:

Now divided into three, Tanjiro fights two of them in their underground swamp, while Nezuko protects the girl and Kazumi from the other. Using his water breathing form, Tanjiro defeats them both and returns to the surface. He works with Nezuko and defeats the last one. After successfully completing his first mission, Tanjiro travels to Asakusa. There, he locates Muzan Kibutsuji alive, disguised as an ordinary family man. Muzan confronts Tanjiro and transforms a passerby into a demon by slitting his neck.

8. The smell of enchanting blood:
The passerby transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji goes on a rampage, leaving Tanjiro to overpower him and allowing Muzan to escape. The police arrive and attempt to take Tanjiro away until they are aided by two demons, Tamayo and Yushiro. Although she is a demon, she wishes to annihilate Kibutsuji. Kanjiro and Nezuko arrive at their secret hideout and Tamayo explains her situation and Kibutsuji's curse to them. Tanjiro agrees to collaborate with Tamayo's research and lets her study his sister's blood. She also asks Tanjiro to collect the blood of demons closely related to Kibutsuji, that is, demons whose powers are closer to those of Kibutsuji himself. Meanwhile, Muzan sends two demons, Susamura and Yahaba , to kill Tanjiro.

9. Temari Demon and Arrow Demon:
The two demons, Sasamura and Yahaba, manage to find Tamayo's hiding place and attack them. Although he struggles at first, Tanjiro manages to overpower Yahaba and unleashes a combination of moves to decapitate him. Meanwhile, Nezuko and Yushiro fight the other demon, who is using a temari.

10. Together forever:
Tamayo unleashes her own Blood Demon Art and joins the battle. Her ability forces the Temari demon, Sasamura, to activate Kibutsuji's curse by saying her name, ultimately killing her. After defeating the two demons, Tanjiro and Nezuko part ways with Tamayo and Yushiro. The siblings head south-southeast for their next mission and encounter another member who completed the Final Selection, Zenitsu Agatsuma None.

11. Tsuzumi Mansion:
Guided by the crow, Tanjiro, Nezuko (in her box), and Zenitsu arrive at a mansion where they find two children whose brother has been taken into the mansion. Tanjiro leaves Nezuko outside and enters the mansion with Zenitsu to rescue their brother. There, they separate as the house reorganizes and encounters several demons. Tanjiro encounters the house demon, who has the ability to control the house by striking the tsuzumi drums within its body. During the battle, a boar-headed man with a pair of chipped nichirin swords arrives and enters the battle.

12. The boar shows its fangs, Zenitsu sleeps:
The boar-headed youth, Inosuke Hashibara , is also a member of the Demon Slayer Corp. They fight the Tsuzumi Demon until they are separated when the room moves. Tanjiro then finds the siblings' brother in a room carrying a Tsuzumi drum. Meanwhile, Zenitsu encounters a demon and faints. While sleeping, he gets up and kills the demon using his thunder breath form. Tanjiro, on the other hand, leaves the brother in a room and goes after the Tsuzumi Demon.

13. Something more important than life:
By analyzing the effects of each Tsuzumi drum, Tanjiro manages to defeat the Tsuzumi demon and extract its blood. Tanjiro reunites with his brother and leaves the mansion where he finds a gravely injured Zenitsu protecting Nezuko's box. Inosuke exited the mansion right after Zenitsu and tried to destroy the box, but was stopped by Zenitsu. Even though Zenitsu knew there was a demon inside the box, he trusted Tanjiro because he said it was more important than his life.

14. The house with the Wisteria family coat of arms:
Tanjiro punches Inosuke and they fight bare-handed as Demon Corp members are forbidden from drawing swords. Tanjiro ends up headbutting Inosuke, causing him to collapse from a concussion. Inosuke wakes up and the crow Kasugai orders the group to go down the mountain and follow him. The group is then taken to a house where their injuries are treated by a doctor.

15. Mount Natagamo:

After the group is healed, the crow Kasugai orders the three to head to Mount Natagumo. When they arrive, they find a terrified Demon Slayer, Murata, who informs them that ten higher-ranked Demon Slayers have come to the mountain but have begun killing each other. The group (except for Zenitsu) advances and finds the Demon Slayers captured. The Demon Slayers attack the group as they are controlled by threads. Realizing that some are still alive, Tanjiro and the crew free them, but the puppets' strings are reattached by a demon. The demon is the mother of the Spider Family accompanied by a white-haired demon boy, Rui . Meanwhile, reinforcements are on the way as two Hashiras, Tomioka Giyu and Shinobu Kocho, head towards the mountain.

16. Letting someone else go first:
Murata tells Tanjiro and Inosuke to pursue the Demon Mother while he holds off the captured killers. Meanwhile, Zenitsu wanders the mountain unaware of everyone else's whereabouts. Working together, Tanjiro and Inosuke defeat the Mother, and the Demon warns them that one of the twelve demon moons is located on the mountain.

17. You must master only one thing:
Zenitsu encounters a human-headed Spider Demon, the older brother of the Spider Family. He flees and finds the Demons' nest where other Demon Slayers have been captured. The older brother informs Zenitsu that they would all be transformed into spider demons because of his poison. He also reveals that Zenitsu has already been bitten and will transform into a spider in thirty minutes. As the poison begins to take effect, Zenitsu's hair falls out and he loses consciousness. While sleeping, he uses his thunder breath to kill the older brother. He wakes up to find the poison has spread throughout his body. He uses the Breathing Technique to slow the spread of the poison. After defeating the Mother, Tanjiro and Inosuke meet the Daughter of the Spider Family and also encounter the Father.

18. A forged link:
The two hashiras arrive at the mountain and split up to cover more ground. Shinobu manages to find Zenitsu in time and heals him. During the fight between Tanjiro, Inosuke, and the Demon Father, Tanjiro is swept away and finds the young demon, Rui, torturing his sister. Struggling to defeat the Demon Father, Inosuke is about to have his head crushed when Giyu comes to the rescue. Giyu quickly defeats the spider Father.

19. Hinokami:
Rui decides to give his sister another chance and orders her to kill the other Demon Slayers on the mountain. Tanjiro and Nezuko fight Rui, but struggle with his enhanced red threads. Tanjiro fears for his death and remembers his father's kagura dance. He decides to incorporate the dance with his sword, which transforms his water dragon into fire, Hinokami Dance Breathing. Nezuko also uses her blood art, which ignites her blood, and the thread burns towards Rui. With the siblings' combined attack, Tanjiro decapitates Rui.

20. Imaginary family:
Tanjiro collapses from his injuries and is unable to get up. Rui, meanwhile, gets up and replaces his head. He then explains that he first cut his head with his thread. Just as Rui was about to attack Tanjiro, Giyu arrives and saves him by defeating one of the Twelve Moon Demons. Meanwhile, the Spider Family sister attacks Murata but is stopped by Shinobu. Shinobu uses her Insect Breath and the poison coated on her sword to kill the Spider Demon Sister.

21. Against the regime of bodies:
Giyu recognizes Tanjiro and Nezuko from their meeting two years ago. He protects them from Shinobu, who demands an explanation for acting against the Corps' rules. Tanjiro and Nezuko run away but are soon captured by Kanao Tsuyuri , the girl who also completed the final selection with Tanjiro, also a member of the same clan as Shinobu. The crow Kasugai then interrupts and orders them to bring Tanjiro and Nezuko back to headquarters. Inosuke, Zenitsu, and other victims were treated by the Kukushis, a cleaning unit, and brought back to the Butterfly Mansion for further treatment.

22. Master of the manor:
When Tanjiro wakes up, he is tied up and sitting before the nine hashiras. They judge him for breaking the rule of the Demon Slayer Corps—for traveling with a demon. Tanjiro explains his situation and vows that his sister will never harm humans. However, the hashiras are not convinced by Tanjiro's words. The Demon Slayer Master enters and gives his permission for the situation. But most of the hashiras disapprove. One of the hashiras, Sanemi Shinazugawa, agrees to let Tanjiro live but refuses to let Nezuko live. He then throws Nezuko's box into the house and forces her out. He cuts his arm and tells Nezuko to attack him.

23. Meeting with Hashira:
Nezuko remembers her family and refuses to attack. This proves that she can be trusted, and Nezuko is left safe, and Tanjiro is allowed to travel with her again. The siblings are then sent to the infirmary where Zenitsu and Inosuke are treated.

24. Rehabilitation training:
Kyojiro Rengoku Tanjiro sets out on a mission, convinced that a higher-level Twelfth Moon is involved. Tanjiro and Inosuke begin rehabilitation training to rebuild their stamina, and Zenitsu later joins them. The training consists of stretching, reflex training, and a full-body workout where they play tag with Aoi and Kanao. Even though they can beat Aoi, they simply cannot beat Kanao. This continued for several days, and one day, Zenitsu and Inosuke stopped coming to the training room. Tanjiro receives guidance from the Kocho girls and trains himself to use Total Concentration Breathing continuously and maintain it all day and night.

25. Tsuguko, Kanao Tsuyuri:
Tanjiro continues to practice the technique and eventually masters it. The next day at training, Tanjiro defeats Kanao, forcing Zenitsu and Inosuke to train harder to catch up. Tanjiro is fully healed and asks Shinobu if she has ever heard of the Hinokami Kagura dance or the Breath of Fire. Shinobu tells him she has never heard of it and advises him to ask Sengoku, who uses the Breath of Fire.

26. New mission:
Muzan Kibutsuji disposes of all the men except for one of the twelve Lower Moons. The one who remains alive receives his blood and is ordered to kill Demon Slayers. One morning, a crow from Kasugai reports that the casualties of the Infinite Train are increasing, with over 40 people already missing. The crow orders Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke to join Kyojuro Rengoku there and head west. Tanjiro says his goodbyes and thanks everyone who helped him. The three arrive at their destination and are now on the train with Sengoku.

Season 2 Episodes

There has been no official news or announcement regarding the release date of Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2. Therefore, the episodes have not yet been released.
