Anime Series Season 3 - Attack on Titan
The third season of the anime television series Attack on Titan was produced by Studio Wit , an animation studio owned by [Production IG]. It was directed by Tetsuro Araki and directed by Masashi Koizuka. This season covers 2 arcs of the original manga by Hajime Isayama. The first 12 episodes of the season aired on NHK's general channel from July 23 to October 15, 2018, and were on hiatus until April 29, 2019.

Attack on Titan Anime Season 3 Original Soundtrack
The opening theme for the first 12 episodes of Season 3 is "Red Swan" by Yoshiki featuring Hyde, and the ending theme is "Akatsuki no Requiem" (暁の鎮魂歌, Akatsuki in Chinkonka , lit. "Daybreak Requiem") by Linked Horizon. The opening theme for the second part of Season 3 is "Shoukei to Shikabane no Michi" (憧憬と屍の道, lit. "The Path of Longing and Corpses") by Linked Horizon, and the second ending theme is "Name of Love", by Cinema Staff.
Attack on Titan Anime Season 3 Summary
In the previous season 2, Historia revealed to Ymir that "Krista Lenz" was a fake name. In season 3, she also confesses that this name was created to protect her from the Military Police member who murdered her mother and sent Historia and her father, Rod Reiss , into exile.
Rod, who belongs to the true monarchy by blood, has become the puppet of the current king of humanity, Fritz. He kidnaps Historia and Eren and takes them to a hidden location. He explains that the Titan's power has been passed down through the Reiss family line since Rod's younger brother, Uri, did so to become the First King. Uri then decided to erase the existence of the Titans from humanity's collective memory for "a good cause."
In the end, after trying to convince Historia to inherit Eren's Titan power by eating him, she refuses to do so, and Rod ends up consuming the liquid filled with Founding Titan serum. This, in turn, transforms him into a half-formed, gigantic Titan.
Additionally, Eren discovers that he inherited the Titan's power after eating his father. Grisha had eaten Queen Frieda and destroyed most of the Reiss family in order to gain the Founding Titan's power. When the walls collapsed, he forced Eren to eat him to pass this power on to his son.
Another character's past revealed during this season is that of Levi Ackerman . A new character is introduced under the name Kenny "The Ripper." With his dying breath, Kenny, who had been Levi's childhood mentor, explained that he was his uncle and that Levi and Mikasa were his relatives. This is why the two characters share the same last name.
Later, Erwin and Levi plan to eliminate the Beast Titan. However, such a plan fails and ends with many soldiers severely injured. With Erwin andArmin nearly dying and a Titan serum, the characters must choose between one of them to obtain the injection that would allow them to eat Bertholdt and become the heir to the Armored Titan . This way, they could save the life of one of them. After some rambling, Armin is chosen to eat Bertholdt and emerges cured of his Titan form, while Erwin dies.
After these events, Hange , Levi, Eren, and Mikasa arrive in Shinganshina to investigate the basement of Eren's house. Eren unlocks the door with the key hanging from his neck, and the group opens a desk drawer with a hidden compartment containing three books. Inside the book, they find a strange photo of Grisha, standing next to a woman holding a child who is not Eren.
Six years after the fall of Wall Maria, the Survey Corps expedition begins outside the wall. But although Eren has always wanted to see the sea, he realizes they have only found enemies on the other side of the sea, instead of the freedom he sought.
