Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is a manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto, Ukyo Kodachi, and Mikio Ikemoto. It is a sequel to the Naruto series, which ran from 1999 to 2014. The story is about Naruto Uzumaki's son, Boruto Uzumaki , who goes on an adventure. The manga series was published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016, while the anime series premiered on TV Tokyo in 2017. The series was so popular that Shueisha sold one million copies in one year.

Boruto is the protagonist of the series and is the son of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga . Growing up, Boruto missed his father's presence because of Naruto's long working hours as Hokage. As such, Boruto resented his father for abandoning his familial duties. His dream was not to become a great shinobi like his father, but to become a cool shinobi like Sasuke Uchiha . About Boruto Uzumaki

Boruto shows his innate shinobi skills from the very beginning. Unlike Naruto and Hinata Hyuga , he excels in his ninja lessons. Furthermore, he perfects the Rasengan in just a few days, while it took Naruto weeks to do so. He can also perform one-handed seals and multiple Kage Bunshin techniques, making his chakra control very advanced. His Hyuga bloodline and the power of the Otsutsuki allow him to communicate with Momoshiki's deceased spirit. As an ongoing manga and anime, it's exciting to see how Boruto continues to grow as a shinobi.

Other important characters in Naruto

Sarada Uchiha is a member of Team 7 along with Boruto and Mitsuki. She is the daughter of Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha . Like Boruto, Sarada also grew up without her father. However, with Naruto's help, she clears up her misunderstanding that Sakura was her blood mother. In the process, she sees how powerful and warm the Hokage is. Her goal then becomes to be like her and protect the Hidden Leaf Village as Hokage.

Mitsuki is another member of Team 7, along with Boruto and Sarada. He is an unusual child, as he is a clone of Orochimaru. For unknown reasons, Orochimaru gives Mitsuki the independence to discover his role in life. Wondering if Boruto is Mitsuki's sun, Mitsuki travels to Konoha to befriend Boruto. Fortunately, the 7th Hokage accepted Mitsuki without prejudice, even knowing that Mitsuki came from Orochimaru. Nevertheless, Mitsuki enjoys going on missions with Boruto and Sarada.
