Carmilla is the Witch of Lust and has also been called the Faceless Goddess. Her physical appearance is that of a slightly skinny teenage girl with waist-length light pink hair and yellow eyes. She constantly emits light (unexplained reason) which contradicts her status as a Witch of Lust. She wears a long white coat over a pink dress that goes down to her ankles. She also wears a gigantic green scarf around her neck that trails on the ground. Carmilla is somewhat shy with little to no self-confidence. Despite all this, she is still attractive to others as a Witch of Lust due to her Authority of Lust.
History
Carmilla was alive before the incident with the Witch of Envy . Over 400 years ago, Carmilla was a witch. Before she was a witch, she was a normal young girl, loved by the people of her village and even had a fiancé. One day, a man of higher rank and power came to the village and decided he wanted her as his. The villagers rallied around Carmilla out of defiance and anger at the man's actions and eventually burned her and her mansion down. The fighting quickly spread from there, as neighboring towns and villages viewed her actions as dangerous. Soon, the force that began by supporting Carmilla was overthrowing countries in her name.
Of course, none of this was what she wanted. She was elevated to the status of a celestial maiden by those around her without regard for her true desires. The idea of Carmilla in their minds was more powerful than the actual physical person, and ultimately the makeshift army succeeded in overthrowing a great country. Her fiancé proposed to her atop the castle, but the Witch of Lust ultimately turned her back on everything done in her name and left it all behind, filled with grief and lamentation.
Eventually, Carmilla would encounter Echidna , though the exact details of these events are still unclear. Echidna would absorb a fragment of Carmilla's soul before Satella, the Witch of Envy, killed the Six Witches of Sin. Thanks to Echidna's powers, Carmilla can still manifest, as when she was summoned when Subaru was overwhelmed during the second trial of the Witch of Greed's Graveyard . Echidna sent Carmilla, who appeared to Subaru as Rem , in order to calm him down before his mental state deteriorated too much. Subaru quickly realized that it wasn't Rem in front of him, but that he was captivated by Carmilla's presence. In their brief interaction, Subaru had forgotten to breathe or blink.
Towards the end of the events of Arc 4 , as Echidna transplants her soul into Lewes-Meyer 's body, Carmilla's soul fragment remains with Echidna. It is then placed (along with the other witches' souls) into a pyroxene crystal. Echidna has shown that she can still summon the souls of the Sin Witches even in her new body (which she calls Omega).
Relationships
Satella - Carmilla (like the other Sin Witches) dislikes the part of Satella known as the Witch of Envy, though she bears no particular ill will toward Satella's original personality herself.
Echidna - Carmilla's soul currently resides with Echidna, and Echidna is able to summon her even now as she travels around the Kingdom of Lugnica under the guise of Omega.
Subaru Natsuki - Echidna used Carmilla's captivating presence to temporarily distract Subaru from the pressures of the second trial of the Witch of Greed's Graveyard. The two only had a brief interaction, though Subaru would have been in danger of dying if Echidna hadn't interrupted to remind him to breathe and blink.

Authority of Lust - Carmilla is the Witch of Lust and has the ability to use the authority of lust. In her case, she captivates the people who look at her and makes them so absorbed in the very act of looking at her that they shut out everything else. She also has the ability to make others see and hear whatever they want.
