Connie Springer - Attack on Titan
Connie Springer is a member of the 104th Training Corps. He hails from a village called Ragako, located south of Rose Wall, and his greatest ambition is to make his village and family proud. Even though he is short, he graduated from the Training Corps with good grades, ranking 8th in his class. His great physical abilities, especially his good sense of balance, helped him achieve this rank despite his poor academic performance. After graduation, he originally planned to join the Military Police. However, after hearing Eren Jaeger's rousing speech in front of his peers, he decides to join the Survey Corps to fight the Titans.

Personality
Connie Springer can be described as a character who gets angry easily. He starts out as a character who doesn't take his training seriously and describes himself as a genius. He has a low comprehension capacity and constantly misunderstands strategies. He likes to have fun with his friends, especially Sasha Blouse as they are both from Rose Wall. They are often seen joking around and getting into trouble together. He is a bit slow to think and can be stubborn, but he values friendship and cares a lot about his comrades. He is a character who brightens up the group/situation with a bit of laughter; however, he becomes more serious when he meets several Titans throughout the series.
When Sasha dies later in the series, Connie informs the crew of her death and tells Eren what her last words were, tears streaming down her cheeks. After her funeral, he explains his relationship with Sasha as if they were like "twins."
Key Events: Connie's Village
In Chapter 35 of the manga , a group of Titans was found in Wall Rose. After discovering that the Titan pack was coming from the direction of her village, Connie asks the group's leader if he can go to her village. He quotes, "I know that... even if I go now... it would be hopeless... But I have to go...". Connie decides to check on their safety by heading to the village with Reiner Braun and Bertolt.
The three men arrive at the village, but all they find is a deserted village with damaged buildings and no bodies, but no signs of escape. Connie rushes home and finds a single Titan trapped inside his house. When the Titan and Connie's eyes meet, the Titan speaks softly to her and says, "Welcome home." Left stunned and confused, Connie explains to her friends that the Titan spoke to her but was rejected and ignored.
Later, after the battle ends, Connie revisits his village with Hange Zoe and the investigation team. They realize that all the buildings have been destroyed from the inside out, and no blood stains have been found. More importantly, no residents of Ragako Village have been found, and the total number of Titans discovered and defeated matches the number of individuals who lived there. Further investigating the Titan immobilized in his house, Connie compares the Titan to a portrait of his mother. He then begins to realize that the Titan is actually his crippled mother. Connie quotes, "So... All I have left is this picture... And my mother." "Who would... do this to us... I certainly won't forgive them." The reality was that his entire village had been wiped out by the Beast Titan, and every person living in the village had been transformed into a Pure Titan.
Thanks to this event, Hange Zoe was able to make progress in her research on the Titans, as Connie's mother was the only Titan left alive within the walls. Her survival is justified by her relationship with Connie. Thanks to this event, the plot thickens, adding more depth to the Titans' story. Furthermore, Connie's mother is the second Pure Titan in the series to display the ability to speak (the first being the Talking Titan). Furthermore, Hange was able to deduce that the Titans were actually once human before transforming into Titans. The method was still unknown at this point.
