Dragon Ball Super Broly Movie Soundtracks - Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball Super: Broly is the twentieth animated film in the Dragon Ball franchise as a whole and the first to be included in the Dragon Ball Super series. The film was directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and written by Akira Toriyama. It is also the third Dragon Ball film released in the 2010s, following Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection "F." It was released in Japan on December 14, 2018, and is the fourth animated film featuring the character Broly , though it is the first to be considered officially canon since, unlike the previous three, it was written and supervised directly by Toriyama. As such, some aspects of Broly's design, character, and history have been altered from his original, non-canonical counterpart. That said, much of Broly is exactly as fans likely remember him.
Summary
The film takes place after the Tournament of Power, at a time when Earth is at peace. Goku , realizing that there are still extremely strong people in the universe, continues to train to become stronger. However, one day, Frieza appears on Earth with a mysterious Saiyan named Broly, who confronts Goku and Vegeta . The first part of this film is based on the manga Dragon Ball Minus, which tells the story of Goku's origin and many of the events that led to his arrival on Earth. Much of the rest of the film focuses on Goku and Vegeta's struggles to overcome the incredible power of the universe. Legendary Super Saiyan None

To the surprise of many fans of the Dragon Ball series, when the soundtrack was released (but before the film aired), many discovered that the song titles were arranged to provide relevant information about the story that would unfold in the film. This information seemed to have been deliberately displayed in chronological order, starting with the revival of Frieza's army and then focusing on Broly's story. The theme song "Bardock Falls" made fans suspect that he might end up dying in this part of the story.
Fans then theorized that the story would be about the Saiyan's past ("The Wild Child, Broly") and finally also about the battle against Goku and Vegeta . Here, the expected fusion between Goku and Vegeta would take place, giving life to Gogeta , which would mark the climax of the fight which would end with a powerful Kamehameha.
The song titled "Friendship With Broly" raised many doubts among fans before the film's release, as the case of the Legendary Saiyan befriending someone would cause Broly's story to end in a significantly different way than what had been shown in his previous appearances.
