Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 1, 2 & 3 Game - Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 is a role-playing game released in February 2015 for PlayStation 3, 4, Xbox 360, One and Microsoft Windows. It is based on the popular Dragon Ball manga and the game was developed by Dimps and published by Bandai.

Story and Gameplay

The game features a completely new story where the original Dragon Ball storyline is manipulated by two villains. Against powerful enemies, Son Goku and his friends are defeated and the story is different from what it should be in the manga/anime. To stop the two villains, Time Patrol Trunks Shenron requests a strong individual who would fight alongside him and restore the timeline. This would be the character that the player would control. Along with Trunks, the player patrols through time and fights the villains and also prevents them from manipulating history by fighting alongside Goku and his friends. There are originally 8 arcs; Saiyan Arc, Ginyu Force Arc, Frieza Arc, Cell Game Arc, Future Android Arc, Majin Buu Arc, God of Destruction Beerus Arc, Demon God Demigra Arc.

Battles take place primarily in destructible 3D environments. Free-roaming battles can take place on land, in the air, or on water. The player can customize their own character at the beginning of the story. The player can choose between 5 races: Earthling, Majin, Namekian, Saiyan, or Frieza. Each race will have different starting skills and stats; for example, Namekian will have high health and defense, while Saiyan will have low health but high attack. Throughout the game, the player can also become the apprentice of characters from the Dragon Ball series. By completing a quest, the player can receive their master's ultimate move or items.
