Synopsis
Suddenly, college student Yukine decides to try summoning a demon from hell—and she does! Surprisingly, a demon with a snake's tail named Jashin-chan appears... but after realizing she has no idea how to send it back, Yukine and Jashin-chan find themselves stuck in a shared room in a shabby apartment complex!
Aside from a spell, Jashin-chan knows one way to return to hell: kill her summoner. Hilarity and pain become a constant cycle in their daily lives, as despite her best efforts, Jashin-chan can't finish the job... Who knew a human could be so capable?
Anime adaptation
Written by Yukiwo, this supernatural comedy has been serialized in the digital magazine Comic Meteor since April 2012. The anime adaptation was announced in December 2017.
The opening theme song "Ano Ko ni Dropkick" is performed by main cast members Aina Suzuki, Nichika Omori, Miyu Kubota, Yurie Kozakai, Chiaki Omigawa, Rico Sasaki, and Riho Miura. The ending theme song is "Home Sweet Home!" by Yutaro Miura.

Yurine Hanazono (Voice of: Aina Suzuki)
Yurine is a college student living in a dingy apartment complex who loves wearing gothic lolita clothes and watching horror movies. While she's not without kindness, her brutal and sadistic nature comes to the forefront when dealing with Jashin-chan. She always seems to have a weapon at the ready.
Jashin-chan (Voice of: Nichika Omori)
Jashin-chan is a demon with a snake's tail who sleeps in Yurine's closet. Although she's always thinking of the next plan to kill Yurine, her half-baked plans always fail. She can regenerate, which is both good and bad, as her failed plans always end in suffering and mutilation.
Jellyfish (Voiced by: Miyu Kubota)
Medusa is a close friend of Jashin-chan. When she walks around the human world, she wears a paper bag over her head to prevent random humans from turning into stone.
Pekola (Voice: Yurie Kozaka)
Pekola is an angel who has no idea where her halo is. As such, she lacks the power to cast out demons and witches or return to heaven. She is currently homeless.
Minos (Voice of: Chiaki Omigawa)
Minos is Jashin-chan's friend and an incredibly strong minotaur-type demon. She loves eating meat and is Yurine's neighbor.
Poporon (Voiced by: Rico Sasaki)
Poporon is an angel who currently lives as an idol in the human world since Jashin-chan ate his halo.
Persephone II (Voiced by: Riho Iida)
Persephone II is a weak demon who lives with Minos.
Beast (Voice of: MAO)
Beast is a demonic beast that was found by Yurine. He is treated like a dog at Yurine's insistence.
