About Eijiro Kirishima

Eijiro Kirishima is a student in UA High School's Class 1-A. Under the name "Red Riot," he uses his Hardening Quirk to fight villains on his way to becoming a Pro Hero. Kirishima consistently ranks in the top 5 of My Hero Academia character popularity polls.

Background

Before enrolling at UA High School, Kirishima was a shy and timid middle schooler. Determined to change, he modeled himself after his icon, the pro hero Crimson Riot. Now confident, exuberant, and outgoing, Kirishima consistently ranks among the top students in Class 1-A. His kind and honest nature makes him a hero who follows a simple and straightforward code of chivalry. Above all, Kirishima values his friends to the point of breaking laws to save them.

SKILLS

Kirishima's Quirk allows him to harden and sharpen any part of his body. While in a hardened state, Kirishima becomes nearly indestructible and can withstand most physical attacks. This leads to his reckless and aggressive fighting style. When using his Red Riot Unbreakable technique, Kirishima takes no damage and functionally becomes a shield. However, he can only maintain this state for 30 to 40 seconds.
