Eromanga Sensei is a light novel series written by Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrated by Hiro Kanzaki. It began publishing under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in December 2013 and has since released 10 volumes. There is a manga adaptation of the series that began serialization in 2014, as well as an anime that aired in 2017. The story of Eromanga Sensei revolves around a high school student named Masamune Izumi. He loves writing light novels but has no artistic skills. History of the Eromanga Sensei series

The story of Eromanga Sensei revolves around a high school student named Masamune Izumi. Masamune loves writing light novels, but unfortunately, he lacks artistic talent and cannot illustrate his own novels. He solves this problem by hiring an anonymous partner known by the pen name "Eromanga" to illustrate his works. Masamune balances his light novel work, school, and taking care of his little sister, Sagiri Izumi. She is a hikikomori, never leaving her room despite Masamune's desperate attempts. One day, Masamune accidentally discovers that Sagiri was Eromanga all along, which changes their relationship forever.

Development of the Eromanga Sensei series

Eromanga Sensei began as a light novel series written by Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrated by Hiro Kanzaki. Since then, ten volumes of the story have been published by ASCII Media Works under the Dengeki Bunko imprint. Publication began in December 2013 and is still ongoing. There is also a manga adaptation of the series illustrated by Rin. This series began serialization in Dengeki Daioh in May 2014 and is still ongoing. The anime adaptation of Eromanga Sensei began production by A-1 Pictures and aired from April to June 2017.
