Evangelion Tokyo-01 Shop

The main official Evangelion store in Tokyo is located in Ikebukuro, on the second floor of the
Parco Building Shopping Center. The store originally opened in Harajuku before moving to Ikebukuro in 2014. Many fans expected the move to Akihabara, but the store instead made the jump to Ikebukuro, which is just as famous as Akihabara for its anime culture and community. Near Ikebukuro is J-World Tokyo, Namco's anime theme park. There's also Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, the largest Pokémon center in all of Japan.

The store is designed in NERV's high-tech style and is stocked with Evangelion merchandise, clothing, goods, and everything currently in season in the world of Evangelion. Even edible food and stationery.

In addition to the merchandise, small Evangelion gadgets can be found throughout the store. For example, visitors can find a metal statue of Rei Ayanami, which is very popular with tourists and their cameras. The locker room doors are also designed to resemble pilot locker rooms, with a NERV-style door labeled "Fitting Mode."
