Her loose-fitting t-shirt also hangs off her shoulders, revealing the straps of her dark gray undershirt. Her glossy black shorts have a belt detail and side lacing that matches her knee-high boots. The paint details and sculpting together convey the transparent texture of her over-the-knee socks. Her jacket is detachable to offer more posing options. Additional armrests allow Futaba to hold her phone, with a live SNS screen, or to hug Morgana. The detailed sculpting of her coat helps show how oversized it is on her petite frame. Finally, the paint details on her metallic accents as well as her headphones add to the sense of reality.

Persona 5 Futaba Sakura Phantom Thief Limited Glow Base Ver. 1/7 scale

Futaba literally radiates confidence in this limited Amakuni figure. She wears her Phantom Thief disguise, resting on the sci-fi-style tilted computer blocks inside Oracle's main system. Her glasses rest on top of her head, giving fans a clear view of her radiant smile. She is surrounded by a visible data strip. The varying shades of green contrasting with the matte and glossy black give the figure a futuristic feel. For a greater futuristic effect, this limited release features a light-up base. When activated, a ring of green light shines on the base, and this light continues into the digital blocks. The light reflects off the translucent data strip, giving her a hologram-like appearance. Together, the entire display evokes Futaba at work in Oracle, navigating the metaverse with the Phantom Thieves.

About Futaba Sakura

Sakura Futaba is the genius hacker of the Phantom Thieves. Initially, Futaba encountered the Thieves as a semi-antagonistic force trying to force the Thieves to complete a heist for her. The target is none other than herself, as she feels trapped by her guilt surrounding her mother's death. The Thieves free Futaba from her palace and help her unlock her Persona in the process. Although no longer mentally locked away, Futaba still struggles to leave her closeted lifestyle and integrate into the outside world. With the help of the protagonist, the Thieves, and her tutor, Sojiro, Futaba begins to overcome her anxiety. Her personality towards technology, however, is completely different. The hacker Futaba is excitable, arrogant, and fully aware that she is still the best coder in the room.

Other important characters in Persona 5

Sojiro Sakura is Futaba's adoptive father and a close friend of her late mother, Wakaba Isshiki. Sojiro cares deeply for Futaba and felt a fatherly attachment to her even before officially adopting her. When Futaba locked herself in her room, Sojiro felt like he had failed her. As she begins to interact with the world, Sojiro is grateful to have had the protagonist to help her. Sojiro is also the owner of Café LeBlanc, the unofficial home of the Phantom Thieves.

Yusuke Kitagawa is an eccentric artistic genius and member of the Phantom Thieves. Yusuke joins the thieves after learning that his mentor and sole guardian was using him and other students to create works of art under his own name. Like Futaba, Yusuke's unique upbringing has altered his perception of the world and affected his social skills. He is sometimes cold or detached from his friends, but only because he is blinded by his search for artistic inspiration.
