Goku Black Dragon Ball Super - Figures

With its very first episode airing in Japan on April 26, 1989, Dragon Ball Z became an instant star in the anime world. In an era filled with classics, Dragon Ball Z still managed to stand out from the rest. True to the saying “all good things must come to an end,” Dragon Ball Z aired its final episode on January 31, 1996. Dragon Ball fans were then treated to the entertaining (if much less popular) Dragon Ball GT from February 7, 1996, to November 19, 1997. The franchise remained dormant for some time until the release of the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. After rekindling interest in the franchise, a revival followed with a second canonical film and the Dragon Ball Super series. Perhaps the biggest villain in the Super series, Goku Black, already has an incredible variety of figures available, with four of the current bestsellers below.

Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black (Dragon Ball Super Grandista Manga Dimensions Figure)

Inspired by his sparring session with Son Goku, Zamasu believed there was no better way to defeat the powerful god-ki using mortals than to simply become him. Not only did Zamasu steal Son Goku's body using the Super Dragon Balls, but he managed to learn how to increase his power. So much so that he unlocked the fearsome Super Saiyan Rosé form. In his signature black gi, white boots, and red belt, Goku Black smiles as he shows off his newfound power. This extremely well-colored figure features high-contrast paint that really makes this figure special.

  • Manufacturer: Banpresto

Goku Black (Dragon Ball Legends Collaboration Figure)

After terrorizing Future Trunks with his ever-increasing godly powers, Zamasu sets his sights on eradicating all mortals. Not only does Goku Black vigilantly carry out his mission, but as the evil grin on his face shows, he clearly enjoys it too. Dressed in his black Kai uniform with a red sash, Goku Black prepares to fire a ki blast while eagerly awaiting the results. The highly detailed shading and paintwork really bring this figure to life.

Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black (Dragon Ball Z Banpresto World Figure Colosseum 2 Vol. 9)

Growing stronger and stronger, Goku Black surprises even himself after unlocking incredible powers during the fight with Vegeta and Goku. During the duo's third and final trip to Trunks' timeline, Goku Black becomes so powerful in his Super Saiyan Rose form that he manages to create a ki scythe. Using this formidable new weapon, Goku Black splits reality itself and opens a rift of dark energy that even he didn't understand. With his left hand outstretched for balance, Goku Black prepares to deliver a powerful swing with this deadly ki weapon. A highly detailed furrowed brow and a wicked smile reveal his true intentions.

Goku Black (SHFiguarts Dragon Ball Super)

Goku's body has been stolen before. Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu Force stole Goku's body but never managed to unlock his true potential. Zamasu, on the other hand, is a different story. Not only did he unlock the power and potential of Goku's body, but he was also able to increase his power exponentially after each fight. Through this, he also learned to use the Turtle School's most devastating ki attack, the Kamehameha. The name of this variation perfectly matches the character's name, the Black Kamehameha. This variation of a classic is one of Goku Black's most powerful signature attacks. After taking a wide stance, Goku Black cups his hands, pulls back his arms, and prepares to unleash the devastating blast. Since this attack is used in both his base and Super Saiyan Rosé forms, this figure includes optional parts to convert between the two.

  • Manufacturer: Bandai
  • Features: Painted, articulated, non-scale PVC and ABS figure
  • Height (approx.): 140 mm | 5.5"
  • Parts included:
  • 5 pairs of optional right hands
  • 2 pairs of optional right hands
  • 3 optional expressions (2 for the Rosé)
  • Pink hair optional
  • Kamehameha Effect Part
  • Pink effect coin set

About Goku Black

Goku Black began his life in exactly the same way as Son Goku, until his body was stolen by a jealous and evil Kai named Zamasu. Zamasu used the Super Dragon Balls to wish for Goku's body before killing his family. After this, he went on a rampage, killing all the other Kai and eventually nearly everyone on Earth, where he became known as Goku Black. After teaming up with his future self in his original Zamasu body, the duo became an unstoppable enemy for the lone warrior Future Trunks. Eventually, through multiple time travels (which is illegal in the Dragon Ball world), Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks manage to put a stop to the evil Kai's evil plan once and for all. Upon his death, however, Zamasu's fused will survived and began spreading across the universe. Goku was fortunately able to summon Zeno to obliterate the malevolent Super God.

Notice

Goku Black is considered the greatest villain in Dragon Ball Super. His popularity is so great that fans are able to overlook the somewhat complicated nature of the arc in which he appears. Some fans claim that his motivations and story are among the best in the entire Dragon Ball saga to date. While others compare his saga to the Cell saga with its frequent use of time travel and timeline manipulation. Regardless, love him or hate him, Goku Black has proven to be one of the deadliest characters the Z Warriors have faced so far. Coming so close to losing everything in their battles against the villain, the sense of urgency and danger has helped propel Goku Black to the top of the villain totem pole.
