Gotenks Dragon Ball Z - Figures
Gotenks is the first fusion in the Dragon Ball franchise and arguably the most iconic. Originally created to defeat the overpowered Majin Buu, Son Goten and Trunks continue to use their combined powers throughout the series. By the end of Dragon Ball Z, Gotenks is one of the most powerful characters in the series, if not the most powerful. However, his power is limited by the fusion time limit, preventing him from disrupting the balance of power in the universe. Despite his reduced appearance and relevance in later series, Gotenks remains the strongest for DBZ fans. The "Hero of Justice" has inspired many figures as the most popular fusion figure to date. The three best Gotenks figures are "Dragon Ball Super Master Stars Piece Gotenks", "Dragon Ball Z GxMateria Gotenks", and "Ichiban Figures Dragon Ball Rising Fighters Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks".
Dragon Ball Super Gotenks Master Stars Piece Figure
This Banpresto figure showcases the strong resemblance between Gotenks and his (half) father, Vegeta . Although no longer in his Super Saiyan form, Gotenks still has an extremely well-developed physique, highlighted here by sculpted details. He stands with his hands on his hips, and his hips are slightly forward. Despite his small stature, he tilts his head downward to look at the viewer with a smirk, conveying his pompous attitude. His radiant confidence resembles the arrogance Gotenks felt after his first successful fusion. While he may not be ready to handle Majin Buu at this level of power, the bravado in this figure gives the impression that he is ready to face him once more.

Dragon Ball Z GxMateria Gotenks Figure
From the GxMateria line, this figure shows a Super Saiyan Gotenks unleashing his signature attack, Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. Gotenks and his accompanying Ghost Kamikaze have their fists thrusting forward in a ferocious stance. Gotenks shouts with intensity while the Ghost Kamikaze angrily bares its teeth in aggression. The Ghost Kamikaze is sculpted with a clear plastic base mixed with metallic glitter and an ice blue finish to mimic a spectral quality. Gotenks receives equal attention for his clothing. His short vest flies around him in response to the surge of energy. The teal blue belt around his waist flies near his head showing great strength and movement.

Gotenks Super Saiyan 3 Ichiban figure from Dragon Ball Rising Fighters
Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks looks intimidating in this Ichiban figure from Bandai. With his long, voluminous golden hair and flexed, claw-like hands, Gotenks takes on an almost animalistic quality. His golden hair is also beautifully painted with a light pearlescent sheen. The colors are carefully chosen with a balance of saturated navy and teal hues and lighter yellow pastels. He leaps into the air with his legs drawn towards his body. The movement is evident in the flow of his hair and belt. The detailed sculpting continues on his face, with a fully sculpted screaming mouth and an impression of deeply furrowed brows. Overall, the figure's bold pose and excellent sculpting capture the full power of Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks.

About Gotenks
Gotenks is the result of the fusion of Goten and Trunks and the first Fusion Dance fusion in the series. Goten and Trunks first formed Gotenks during the Majin Buu Saga taught by both Son Goku and Piccolo . As a fusion, Gotenks shares personality traits with his components. His arrogance and mischievous traits come from Trunks while his playful and whiny side comes from Goten. However, when not overcome by his own overconfidence, Gotenks proves to be incredibly powerful, especially in his Super Saiyan 3 form. His attack style is unique among other Saiyans in the series, most clearly represented in his signature attack: Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack.
Other important characters in Dragon Ball
Gogeta and Vegeta are fused forms of Gotenks' respective fathers, Son Goku and Vegeta . Gogeta is the result of a perfect fusion between the two and first appears in the film Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. Vegito is the result of a Potara fusion of the two, using a pair of earrings shared between two parties of unequal power levels. As combinations of Goku and Vegeta's powers, Gogeta and Vegito are two of the most powerful characters in the series.
Master Roshi , also known as the Turtle Hermit, is a martial arts master who has trained Goku, Krillin, Son Gohan , and many other powerful fighters in the series. He himself is one of the strongest humans in history and the greatest fighter of his generation. Despite his impressive martial arts skills, Master Roshi's most distinctive personality trait is that he is a lecherous pervert. His school, the Turtle School, teaches the energy technique, the Kamehameha, which becomes the signature move of the Goku family.
