Words

Kanji Romaji Translation
「未完成」だって何度でも言うんだ "Mikansei" gives a demo to Nando I will say it as many times as necessary, we are incomplete.
NO, I can't help thinking No, I'm not sure about myself. In the midst of a love that doesn't try to say "no."

Interpretation

While some theorists find connections to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege in the song's lyrics, these are mostly references rather than the song's theme. The lyrics contain numerous examples of dissatisfaction: the protagonist of the lyrics wants to be hurt even more, wants to feel more insecure; they are in a relationship without risk or any negative aspects, which makes it incomplete. Their lover doesn't acknowledge any complaints or fragility, doesn't respond with interest to their conversation, only broaching uninteresting topics and jokes, and then insists on affection, a "wall that comes to kiss me."
There's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it lacks flavor, one might say. A perfect relationship with nothing negative, but one that stems from the fact that neither participant truly expresses their thoughts and opinions, abandoning their "no" to continue sailing smoothly. "Choose both, destroy both," they won't make any choices that might compromise anything, they won't risk disagreeing with each other.
The song's title, "Spark," may refer to the sparks that fly when objects collide, but it also refers to the spark of love. In this relationship, they don't clash, they don't argue; there's no spark born from their disagreements, nor any spark that can ignite their passion.
The aforementioned Rainbow Six references are present in many aspects of the song: the artwork for its video shows Miku under the sights of a gun, Rainbow Six being a first-person shooter. Hibana is the name of the game's playable character, which is enough for some people, when coupled with the song's opening verses, which mention "Recapturing Matches," one of the competitive modes present in the game, a Flash, which could be associated with the stun grenades used by operators, and Mute, another character from the series. An English-language segment midway through the song mentions "end this game" and "throw your MP5 away," MP5 most likely meaning Maschinenpistole 5 (submachine gun). Putting all this together, it's plausible to think there was an influence, but it's not conclusive as many of them could also be considered stretches of the imagination.
