Himemori Luna is a Japanese-speaking VTuber from Hololive 4th generation, primarily known for her gaming streams and her pampered, childlike personality. While not as popular as others in her generation, her love of gaming and music has allowed her to gain a considerable following in the VTuber community.

Luna is a self-proclaimed candy princess and can be found streaming a variety of content on her channel, though she generally prefers playing RPGs and older retro games like Super Metroid None, Dragon Quest V , and so on.

Story of Himemori Luna

Luna became known to the world through her Twitter account on December 31, 2019, before her official YouTube debut, which took place a few days later on January 4, 2020. On July 15, she announced the debut of her 3D model and simultaneously reached 200,000 subscribers on her channel. A few days later, her 3D debut took place on July 19. On December 19, Luna received a major update to her Live2D model and also reached 400,000 subscribers. Then, on New Year's Day 2021, Luna received her first alternate 2D outfit to celebrate the holiday.

Physical Description of Himemori Luna

Himemori Luna is a petite young girl with pink hair that blends into a shade of blue and also has heterochromatic eyes similar to Houshou Marin (Marin) , though Luna's eyes are purple and light green rather than yellow and red. Her main outfit consists of a pastel pink and white fancy dress decorated with various gold accents themed around the moon and stars. Her white sleeves are shaped like wrapped pieces of hard candy, and the bottom of her dress is lined with French macarons. The outfit also includes a pair of mismatched pastel-colored knee-high socks. Luna also has a crown on top of her head and wears a hair tie shaped like a large candy.

In contrast, her New Year's outfit consists of a relatively simple pink kimono decorated with crescent moons and stars. The kimono is tied with a pink checkered obi and features a dark knee-length skirt, a pair of black knee-high socks, and matching boots. A fluffy cream-colored neck warmer is also wrapped around her shoulders and across her chest. While Luna's hair is normally worn down, this outfit has it tied into a pair of braids and is decorated with a floral hair ornament. She also does not wear her crown, which instead reveals a small ahoge (cow's lock) shaped like a crescent moon.

Himemori Luna's Personality

As the "Candy Princess," Luna often acts very spoiled and cute around other Hololive members and her viewers. While everyone generally agrees that she's very cute, there are VTubers like Houshou Marine and Inuyama Tamaki who think her personality is almost sickeningly sweet at times. She can be quite clingy around others and is never afraid to seek their attention and affection. This is especially true with Natsuiro Matsuri , who gets along very well with Luna and even formed a couple named "FestivalLuna" with her.

Although Luna often comes across as overly cute around others, she also has a mischievous side that shines through from time to time. She is very aware that her personality annoys some people and deliberately exaggerates her actions specifically to annoy them. That said, Luna is considered one of the calmest and most collected members of her generation, though instead of being panicked and nervous, Luna instead expresses frustration.
