Synopsis
Cocoa Hoto is a positive and cheerful girl who just moved to a new town for high school and moves in with the Kafu family who run a cafe called the Rabbit House Cafe. She quickly becomes friends with Chino Kafu, a quiet and precocious girl who walks around with a talking rabbit named Tippy on her head. After starting to work at the cafe to pay for her room and board, she begins to make friends with a host of other unique girls, including her coworker Rize Tedeza, a serious girl obsessed with guns, as well as girls from other nearby cafes, including Syaro Kirima, a hardworking and clumsy girl who works at Fleur de Lapin, and Chiya Ujimatsu, a playful girl who does things at her own pace. Together, the girls have fun every day with caffeine!
Background
Is the Order a Rabbit? began as a four-part manga written and illustrated by Koi that has been serialized in Hobunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max magazine since March 2011. The series has been adapted into several anime seasons, OVA films, as well as a 5pb visual novel called Is the Order a Rabbit? What a Party! that was released on the PlayStation Vita in 2016.
Is the Order a Rabbit? Bloom is the third season of the anime adaptation. It is produced by Encourage Films with Hiroyuki Hashimoto directing, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu writing the script, Yousuke Okuda designing the characters, and Ruka Kawada composing the music. The anime premiered in Japan on October 10, 2020, on Tokyo MX, AT-X, BS11, and other channels. It is being broadcast overseas by Crunchyroll and will run for 12 episodes.

Cacao Hoto (Voiced by: Ayane Sakura)
Cocoa, a 16-year-old girl, has a bright and energetic personality who can make friends with almost anyone. She starts working at the Rabbit House Cafe to pay for her room and board. She treats Chino like a little sister. Her name comes from hot chocolate.
Chino Kafu (Voice of: Inori Minase)
Chino is a 14-year-old girl and the granddaughter of the founder of the Rabbit House Cafe. She is quiet, sweet, and shy, but she eventually grows attached to Cocoa. She and her father are the only ones who know Tippy's secret. Her name comes from the cappuccino.
Rize Tedeza (Voice of: Risa Taneda)
Rize is a 17-year-old girl who works part-time at the Rabbit House Cafe. She comes from a military family and has a disciplined, military-like personality and a love of firearms. She always carries a Glock and a combat knife, even when she's working. She goes to school with Syaro and is his classmate. Her name comes from the Trade Winds tea.
Syaro Kirima (Voice of: Maaya Uchida)
Syaro is a waitress at Fleur de Lapin and lives next door to Ama Usa An. She goes to school with Rize. Although she grew up poor, she carries herself with elegance and refinement. She admires Rize and has a crush on her. She has a wild rabbit named Wild Geese. Its name comes from Kilimanjaro Coffee.
Chiya Ujimatsu (Voice of: Satomi Satou)
Chiya is Cocoa's classmate and neighbor, whose family runs the Ama Usa An cafe. She has a cheerful personality and likes to do things at her own pace. Her name comes from Uji matcha.
Maya Joga (Voice of: Sora Tokui)
Maya is Chino's classmate and friend. She is energetic and tomboyish. Like Syaro, she also admires Rize. Her name comes from the Jogmaya beads.
Megumi “Meg” Natsu (Voice of: Rie Murakawa)
Megumi is Chino's classmate and friend and is nicknamed Megu. She is honest, feminine, and confident, and is quite graceful thanks to her ballet training. She has pure innocence and can't tell when people are lying. Her name comes from the nutmeg.
Aoyama Blue Mountains (Voiced by: Saori Hayami)
A novelist known by the pen name Blue Mountain Aoyama. Her real name is Midori Aoyama. She was close to Chino's grandfather, who gave her the pen she uses to write her novels. Her name comes from the Blue Mountain coffee shop.
Rin Mate (Voiced by: Juri Kimura)
Rin is Midori's friend and editor. Her name comes from the Mandheling cafe.
Tippy (Voice of: Motomu Kiyokawa)
Tippy is a talking angora rabbit and the mascot of the Rabbit House Cafe. She usually sits on Chino's head and often helps Takahiro tend bar at night. She is named after Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe.
Takahiro (Voice of: Sho Hayami)
Takahiro is Chino's father and the current owner of the Rabbit House Cafe, who runs the bar at night alongside Tippy.
