Izuku Midoriya (Deku) Funko Pop My Hero Academia - Merchandise

The popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia began as a manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi and published in Weekly Shonen Jump. In the spring of 2016, the first season of the series' anime adaptation aired to incredible acclaim, boosting the series' popularity once again. Today, the series has four different anime seasons, two video games, two theatrically released films, and several OVAs (original video animations). Like many different shonen series that came before it, My Hero Academia has a fairly large cast of characters with an incredibly diverse range of personalities and appearances. Of course, one of these characters is the series' protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (hero name/nickname: Deku). The character's interesting green design and unwavering determination have made many fans appreciate his character as he overcomes the odds that stand in his way of becoming the number 1 hero. Due to his popularity, many types of action figures, clothing, plush toys , and other products featuring him have been released in recent years. Funko Pop figures are one example. While there are a number of Funko Pop figures based on My Hero Academia characters, Deku himself has several dedicated to him. Pop! Animation: My Hero Academia - Deku (Training)

This Funko Pop figure of Deku shows him dressed in his UA High School training outfit and his signature red shoes. The outfit itself is primarily blue, but features white lines drawn around the suit in a way that spells out "UA." Of course, his unusually messy dark green hair is also present, as are his four black freckles on each of his cheeks. This figure seems to have been inspired by the UA Sports Festival Tournament, as the pose he strikes shows him supporting one of his arms with the other. The supported arm is outstretched as if Deku is about to land a punch on someone, which was how Deku used One for All back in the day. The figure's knees are also bent, and his brows are furrowed, further adding to the intensity of the figure's pose.

Pop! Animation: My Hero Academia - Deku

Unlike the Deku (Training) Funko Pop figure, this version of Deku features him in his hero outfit. The outfit itself is colored blue-green, though he also wears a pair of red shoes and a red utility belt that adds some variety to the outfit. His signature dark green hair is also present, as are his four black freckles on each cheek. His furrowed brow, bent knees, and wide stance make it appear as if he's about to use his Quirk to launch himself at his opponent and deliver a powerful kick thanks to the reinforcements added to his costume.

Pop! : My Hero Academia - Deku

This Funko Pop item is a miniature version of the original Deku Funko Pop figure. All the same details have been included, but in a much smaller form. It features Deku in the Beta Hero Costume, which is primarily blue-green in color, though he does have a red utility belt, white gloves, and, of course, his red shoes. Black reinforcements are also visible on his shins. Other defining features like Deku's green hair and black freckles are also present. The pose of this mini figure is identical to the previous figure. Deku has both arms at his sides with his legs spread out. While this keychain is rather small, it can make a great accessory or small decoration. It also includes a key ring, making it ideal for hanging your keys. That said, this keychain figure can also make a great decoration for your desk. It could even be used as a charm that can be attached to a backpack.
