Kagura Gintama - Figures
The popular comedy series Gintama features a colorful cast of characters engaging in outrageous scenarios to pay the monthly rent. Kagura , the series' female protagonist, shines as the cheeky, tomboyish younger sister. Her active role in the group's antics has earned her a reputation as one of the manga's most beloved female comic characters. Like many other Gintama characters, Kagura undergoes numerous appearance changes throughout the series. Here are two Kagura figures that best exemplify her Two Year Timeskip design: "GEM Series Gintama Kagura Adult Ver." and "GEM Series Gintama Kagura 2 Years Later."
GEM. Gintama Kagura Series Adult Ver. Figure
Kagura's voluptuous adult form receives a bouncy and joyful representation in this MegaHouse scale figure. She wears a short cheongsam-inspired dress and a cape over her newly adult body. She skips happily, arching her chest forward in a full-bodied step. She holds the hem of her dress in her hands, lifting the fabric up and back behind her. The cape-like billow bounces with her step. The illusion of movement continues with her pigtails flipping around her face. She smiles at the viewer with her mouth wide open and her eyes bright and luminous.
The painting details highlight the texture differences within the figure. Her skin appears smooth and matte, while her short boots mimic the sheen of patent leather. The metallic trim of her coat features realistic reflections and highlights following the folds of the fabric. As a bonus, her cheongsam dress can be removed to display her with the short, midriff-baring outfit underneath.

About Kagura
Kagura is the main female protagonist of Gintama. She joins the Yorozuya and participates in the main storylines of the series alongside Gintoki and Shinpachi.
Background of Kagura
Before joining the Yorozuya, Kagura grew up on a distant planet as a member of the Yato tribe. One night, her older brother, Kamui, attacked their father, driving him mad and nearly killing his children in the process. Her father left to avoid attacking his children in the future, leaving a young Kagura to care for her ailing mother. After her mother's death, Kagura went to Earth to start a new life. Her upbringing made her very naive and overconfident, and she tends to behave in "unladylike" ways. She wishes to leave her Yato heritage behind and live a normal life.
Kagura's Abilities
Like other Yato, Kagura possesses heightened senses and immense physical strength beyond that of a normal human. Her kindness and aversion to violence hinder her full potential as a dangerous fighter. When her full Yato mode activates, Kagura's already impressive strength increases considerably. However, she loses mental control and awareness in this state, only remembering anger after leaving it. She also possesses rapid healing abilities, as seen in her fight against Kijima Matako. As the series progresses, Kagura develops unique abilities, such as controlling her age and appearance at will.
Other important characters in Gintama
Within the large cast of Ginatama, Kagura interacts primarily with the other members of Yorozuya.
Sadaharu
Sadaharu is a large white dog and Kagura's pet. Originally an Inugami of destruction and attack, Sadaharu guarded the Dragon's Pulse in the Dragon's Lair on Earth. After the arrival of the Amanto and the construction of a space terminal above the Dragon's Pulse, Sadaharu's role as guardian ended. Eventually, he came under the care of the Yorozuya when his masters found his upkeep too costly. Due to his size and power, Kagura primarily cares for Sadaharu due to his strength. Kagura named Sadaharu after his many failed attempts at owning a pet, technically making him "Sadaharu #27."
Kamui
Kamui is Kagura's older brother and one of the series' recurring antagonists. His initial goal is to focus on the meaning of strength and achieve as much physical strength as possible. After failing to revive an old Yato tradition by killing his father, Kamui left home to follow Housen as a space pirate. Over time, Kamui's perception of his sister changes, and he begins to genuinely care for her.
Sakata Gintoki
Gintoki Sakata is the main character of the series and the founder of Yorozuya. In the past, Gintoki fought in the Joui War. His prowess and swordsmanship earned him the nickname "Shiroyasha," comparing his skills to those of a powerful demon. Since then, Gintoki has become incredibly lazy, preferring to spend his time reading manga and passing on half-baked advice to his junior employees. He cares deeply for his friends and values their lives far more than his own. He acts as a pseudo-older brother to Kagura.
