One Piece: Is the Queen Dead? Did Sanji Kill Her?

One Piece is an anime that certainly has its share of strong and powerful characters and epic battles. In light of this, as well as the current events of the anime series, we will be focusing on the recently concluded fight between Straw Hat Pirates member Vinsmoke Sanji, one of the best cooks in the series, and the Queen of the Kaidou Pirates, as they both finished their epic fight in Wano Country; it was undoubtedly one of the best fights of the arc. In this article, we will explain how Sanji won the fight and whether or not he killed Queen.
Using Ifrit Jambe, an enhanced version of his original Diable Jambe technique, Sanji was able to knock Queen down, then used his Ox Burst technique to finish her off and send her flying off Onigashima. Queen was seen flying off the floating island and survived the fall, but a week later, he was attacked and presumably apprehended by Marine Admiral Ryokugyu.
The rest of this article will focus on Queen and her fate in the One Piece series. Queen was one of the most interesting villains in the entire series, and he had an epic fight with Sanji. It makes sense that fans would want to know what happened to this villain, which is why we decided to write this article. This article will contain some spoilers from the One Piece manga, so please be careful how you approach it.
Queen was defeated by Sanji, but he didn't die
After reuniting after their individual adventures, the Straw Hat Pirates and the samurai attack Onigashima, home of Kaido's crew. Here, Sanji, after being briefly captured by Black Maria and freed by Robin, confronts Queen, one of the most powerful members of Kaido's pirate crew. Chopper is the one who actually starts the fight with Queen, but he is overpowered and nearly killed after Charlotte Perospero helps Queen. He is saved by Sanji, who attacks Queen at that moment, beginning their epic battle.
Sanji kicked Queen again, and when Tama joined the battle, Queen attempted to eliminate him but was stopped again by Sanji. Queen then realized he was fighting Vinsmoke Judge's son and transformed into his human-beast mode, attacking Sanji. King soon joined him, while Marco joined Sanji; the latter two managed to pin their opponents while Zoro recovered enough to engage King.
During the fight, Sanji—at one point—ran away from Queen and encountered Some, a geisha; the next moment, he saw Some on the ground, injured. The geisha immediately accused him of hitting Some, which caused Sanji to have a brief breakdown; namely, he actually thought he had become a heartless monster like his brothers because he had come to believe that he had hit Some, breaking his vow. At the time, Sanji was unaware that Queen, who was chasing Sanji, had used her invisibility technique and hit Some, accusing Sanji of the act.
Sanji then had a flashback remembering his family and his relationship with them. Sanji's family history was complex: his father was a maniac obsessed with creating perfect soldiers, which is why he genetically modified his children; his mother tried to save them, but she only saved Sanji, later dying; As the "black sheep" of the family (i.e., the only normal child), Sanji was shunned by his father and siblings, which is why he ran away, vowing never to become like the other members of his family.

Sanji wondered if he had truly become a cruel and cold monster like his siblings during the flashbacks, still trying to figure out how he could have hit a woman named Some. Then he paused and wondered if his commander, Luffy, would prefer him to stay true to himself or follow in his family's footsteps.
He then decided to don the Raid Suit, a significant representation of his family ties. Sanji's latent abilities were awakened by the Raid Suit, which, as previously mentioned, empowered him and made him considerably stronger. These abilities would be useful against Queen and the Straw Hats' other opponents. But he would also become more like his family thanks to the Raid Suit.
As he saw Queen approaching him in preparation for their confrontation, Sanji pulled out the Raid Suit. Upon seeing this, Queen was quite optimistic that he would face Sanji while wearing the Raid Suit, as it would have made the fight more exciting. Sanji, however, surprised Queen by destroying the Raid Suit and dropping it to the ground, choosing to stay true to himself and never be like his father and brothers. This shocked Queen, but he was so sure he could defeat Sanji now that he didn't expect anything else. But it happened, and with—surprise, surprise—some help.
In particular, Some was on the second floor of the left tower with other geishas as she recovered, watching the duel between Sanji and Queen. The geisha, however, decided to flee as soon as Some was ready to walk as their room was practically in ruins. However, Some soon realized that her pet mouse, Chūji, was missing. Despite what she had to do, Some was able to get up and head to the battlefield, where Sanji and Queen were engaged in bloody battles, in search of her mouse Chūji. Queen was also present and was once again employing her invisibility abilities when Some finally saw Chūji and wanted to remove him from the battlefield.
To fully understand what happened here, it must be said that Queen was a frequent client of the geisha and frequently demanded payment for Some's services. However, Some always refused, feigning illness because she found him repulsive (who wouldn't?). Queen was furious and planned to harm him again in retaliation when he saw her and noticed that she was healthy. This time, Sanji didn't let it happen and prevented him from harming Some by attacking Queen instead.

When Sanji realized Some was in danger, he was actually able to use a new power, forging the powerful Ifrit Jambe by merging his Busoshoku Haki with the genetic alterations he had accepted as part of himself (while simultaneously rejecting his family history). Sanji defeated Queen in combat using a variety of enhanced, and even brand-new, abilities. He also managed to save Some, whose presence allowed the Straw Hats' cook to defeat the formidable foe.
After fighting Queen, Sanji returned Chūji to the geisha, but he soon collapsed from exhaustion. Some people asked for help. She then bandaged Sanji after tending to him. When Sanji suddenly stood up after hearing Luffy's presence again, other people became worried. Following Sanji, she and the other geisha attempted to flee the flames of the Skull Dome but were unsuccessful as the island had collapsed. They were protected from the fire while Raizo submerged the dome with water. However, several struggled to resist the force of the current and had to cling to Sanji to stay afloat.
As for Queen, he was thrown out of Onigashima by Sanji and landed somewhere on the ground. However, he survived, as the manga later revealed. He was later seen in the old prisoner mine alongside King and many other members of Kaido's crew; in the meantime, Kaido was also defeated, his fate unknown at the time of writing. Marine Admiral Ryokugyu found them and impaled Queen with his Devil Fruit ability, dehydrating him and thus greatly reducing his size, after which he brutally kicked him. Queen is officially alive at the moment, and it is assumed that the Marines have apprehended him.
