Synopsis
Inumael and Leocadio are two young men living in the Warheit Empire, where a plan is underway to relocate the capital. Inumael is a shy factory worker, and Leocadio is a naive soldier who has just arrived in the empire. One thinks of his beloved sister, while the other thinks of advancing his career as a soldier. However, the empire has been killing creatures of the world, and it is predicted that such an action will lead to the return of the disastrous "light" that unleashed countless monsters into the world the last time it appeared. Unaware of the future that awaits them, Inumael and Leocadio meet by chance during a smuggling incident, changing the course of history for themselves and the empire.
Background
Magatsu's Valor is a mobile MMORPG developed and published by KLab Games that was released for Android and iOS in April 2019. The game was licensed by Mobimon for a worldwide release in October 2020.
The anime adaptation titled Magatsu's Value: First The series was announced in March 2018. It is produced by Yokohama Animation Lab and stars Naoto Hosoda as director, Naoto Hosoda and Yuichiro Momose as series composers, Naoto Hosoda and Yuichiro Momose as scriptwriters, Akiko Sugizono as character designer, and Masaru Yokoyama as music composer. It premiered in Japan on October 13, 2020, on Tokyo MX and BS11. It is streaming in North America and the British Isles via Funimation.

Farmer Inumael (Voiced by: Atsushi Abe)
Inumael is a young man working in the transportation sector. He is a good-natured and friendly man. His colleagues call him "dog." He adores his little sister, Shisel, who lives with his parents. His destiny changes when he becomes involved in smuggling.
Leocadio Weller (Voice of: Yuki Ono)
A serious man belonging to the 8th platoon of the Imperial Army of Wahrheit with the rank of soldier, Leocadio lives in the city with his childhood friend Seitz.
Shake Gudheil (Voiced by: Yumiri Hanamori)
A member of the Headkeeper smuggling organization, Shake is a mage and the only female member of Arnold's team. While not very friendly, she has an ojou-sama personality.
Elfriede (Voice of: Yukiyo Fujii)
Elfriede, a member of the Headkeeper smuggling organization, infiltrates the city to gather information on his own. In public, he appears cool, but when alone, he has a disappointing personality.
Hermann (Voice of: Kenjiro Tsuda)
Captain of the 8th Platoon of the Imperial Army of Wahrheit, Hermann is a cheerful and always smiling man. He is highly skilled in swordplay and magic. Although he has a polite tone and gentle demeanor, his true intentions are unknown.
Arnold (Voice of: Kenichiro Matsuda)
A member of the Headkeeper smuggling organization, Arnold is a responsible and cautious team leader. He carries out smuggling operations involving Inumael.
Benzoin (Voice of: Junichi Yanagita)
Benjamin is a member of the Headkeeper smuggling organization and part of Arnold's team. Being a bit of a worrier, he hesitates to give his opinion. His peers call him Ben.
Nicolas (Voiced by: Ryota Suzuki)
Klaus is a member of the Headkeeper smuggling organization and part of Arnold's team. He is a smooth talker who takes a shine to Shake.
Conrad Wisdom (Voice of: Kazuyuki Okitsu)
Conrad is a soldier in the 8th Platoon of the Imperial Wahrheit Army with the rank of Private First Class. He works with his superior, Leocadio, and is close friends with Seitz. He appears a little carefree at first glance, but he is actually quite quick-witted.
Fritz (Voiced by: Tarusuke Shingaki)
Fritz is a messenger for the Headkeeper smuggling organization who helps guide Arnold's team and exchanges information with Elfriede. His rule is to stay true to the mission and not fail.
Seitz (Voiced by: Takuya Sato)
Seitz is a young man belonging to the 8th Platoon of the Imperial Army of the Wahrheit. He lives in the city with his childhood friend Leocadio and his three siblings. He enjoys taking care of others.
