Megumin Konosuba - Figures

Konosuba : God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! (often simply abbreviated as Konosuba ) is a popular fantasy comedy series that began as a web novel series in 2012, but was quickly published as a light novel series by Kadokawa (Yen Press in the US) the following year. With the series gaining popularity, an anime adaptation directed by Studio Deen was approved and aired in early 2016. After a successful 10-episode run, a second season and a film were also produced. Fans quickly fell in love with many of the characters in the series, but one of the most popular characters is Megumin , the lovable Crimson Demon Arch Wizard. While there are several dozen Megumin figures that have been produced, some of the most popular currently available include the "Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! KonoSuba: God Bless This Wonderful World! Megumin Figure: Explosion Version 1/7 Scale

This beautiful figure features Megumin preparing to use her signature explosion magic. Megumin herself is placed firmly on the ground with her magic staff pointed at the unfortunate target of her spell. Her cape also billows violently behind her as if whipped by the chaos of the explosion magic incantation. Megumin's expression is serious and determined, showing her dedication to her craft. This figure also includes Megumin's wizard hat, which is removable and also features Chomusuke the cat resting on it. A variety of magical effects are also incorporated into this figure, such as the rainbow-colored stars protruding from Megumin's staff and the red and purple tendrils of magical energy swirling around the entire figure. While the level of detail found in this figure is quite impressive, the price is also quite high, making this figure perfect for the most die-hard Megumin fans.

KonoSuba the Movie: The Legend of Crimson Megumin: 1/7 Scale White Kimono Figure

Unlike the previous figure, which depicted Megumin in the heat of battle, this figure changes things up a bit. Not only is she posing with a cheerful smile and one hand making a peace sign, but she is also depicted wearing a rather elegant kimono instead of her usual wizard outfit. This kimono has multiple layers, each with a different color and pattern. The bottom layer is a simple, solid purple and is mostly covered by the more prominent red layer, which has a pattern inspired by her explosion magic. The outermost layer is white with a gold trim and features a lovely floral pattern. This costume also includes a traditional purple Japanese paper umbrella. Despite the change in clothing, you can still see that her right leg is still wrapped in bandages as usual.

KonoSuba Megumin: Light Novel Swimsuit 1/7 Scale Figure

While most Megumin figures attempt to recreate her design from the KonoSuba anime adaptation, this figure is based on her design from an illustration in the 14th volume of the light novel series. Fans will quickly notice several differences in appearance, such as rounder eyes and more detailed hair and eyelashes. Aside from the design change, this version of Megumin also comes dressed in a unique costume. This figure is depicted wearing a pink and yellow two-piece swimsuit and a white and gold jacket. Megumin is also posed standing on one leg while holding a beach ball. The included stand further emphasizes the figure's beach theme, as it features a wave of water rolling across the sand.

About Megumin

Megumin is a Scarlet Demon Magician and part of protagonist Kazuma's party. Although she is particularly skilled in magic due to her Scarlet Demon heritage, Megumin chooses to only use and enhance her Explosion spell. Because of this obsession, she often becomes a liability to the rest of the party, as Megumin does not enhance any of her other stats. Although she sometimes shows her docile side, Megumin is often very loud and proud. She is also quite prone to theatrics and often claims that the eyepatch she wears is a magical item that seals away part of her power.

Other important characters in KonoSuba

As a member of Kazuma's group, she can often be seen interacting with Aqua , Darkness, and Kazuma and gets along quite well with them. Another character who appears quite often in the series is Yunyun , Megumin's self-proclaimed rival. While Megumin may seem harsh and indifferent towards Yunyun, she genuinely cares about her well-being. Chomusuke also gets along very well with Megumin. So much so, in fact, that Chomusuke allows Megumin to call him a familiar.
