Mitsuri Kanroji Demon Slayer - Figures

Demon Slayer is a manga series that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016. It quickly gained the attention of many readers until it finally received an anime adaptation produced by Ufotable in 2019. In response to the incredible praise and demand from fans, the makers have created a selection of merchandise for fans to add to their collections. While much of this merchandise is inspired by the main characters, the supporting characters also have a wide selection to choose from. One such character is Mitsuri Kanroji , the Love Hashira (also known as the Love Pillar) of the Demon Slayers. Several Mitsuri figures have been produced, but some of the most popular figures include the "Figuarts Mini Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mitsuri Kanroji", the "Demon Slayer" Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro & The Hashira Mascot A & B Box Set w/ Bonus", and the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Figure Collection Vol. 13”.

Figuarts Mini Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mitsuri Kanroji figurine

This adorable Mitsuri figure is part of Bandai's Figuarts Mini series, a line of figures that takes many popular characters and gives them a chibi-style twist. While the figure has a fairly neutral standing pose, there are several points of articulation in its arms and neck that allow its owner to change up its pose a bit. Its arms can be brought up to its head, which can also be tilted slightly to the side, giving the figure an even cuter pose. This figure also features Mitsuri in her classic Demon Slayer outfit. This outfit consists of the skirt version of the black and white Demon Slayer uniform with the chest area left unbuttoned and partially covered by a plain white haori. The lime green socks and pink sandals that cover her legs also match her overall color scheme. This figure also comes with additional arms and a stand for even more customization.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro & The Mascot Hashira A & B Box Set with Bonus

This set includes all nine Demon Slayer Hashira and the series' protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado . Like the previous Mitsuri figure, each of these figures has a very chibi design, which helps to further highlight Mitsuri's cute features. Since this figure has no articulation, more attention is paid to the figure's pose, which shows Mitsuri with a bright, happy smile and her hands raised to her chin. While each figure only stands about 5 cm tall, this set is ideal for those who want a small Mitsuri figure, but don't want her to stand alone in their collection.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Figure Collection Vol. 13

This two-figure collection includes Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, though each figure can be purchased individually. While not quite to scale, this Mitsuri figure is much closer to how she appears in the original series compared to previous items. She is posed standing obediently with her hands in front of her. This figure also has the advantage of a larger size. It stands 6.3 inches tall, allowing for much more potential detailing, such as that found in Mitsuri's unique pink and lime green braided hair and her heart-themed Nichirin Blade. The rather modest price also allows fans to add her to their collection without worrying about emptying their wallets.

About Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri Kanroji is a supporting character inDemon Slayer and is one of the nine Hashira (also known as Pillars) of the Demon Slayers. Many consider Mitsuri to be a kind and caring person, though she also tends to get angry easily. From a young age, Mitsuri's parents and siblings noticed that she had unusual strength, a trait born from her equally unusual muscular structure. Although many saw her as a freak due to her abnormal strength, Mitsuri eventually found a way to use her unique strength and flexibility to her advantage with the invention of Love Breathing.

Other Important Demon Slayer Characters

As a supporting character, Mitsuri may not have as many interactions with other characters as others like Tanjiro, but she certainly has a few other notable relationships with others, particularly with the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro. Obanai admits to being in love with Mitsuri, though he never tells her so openly. That said, the pair make a formidable team in battle. The Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku , was also originally Mitsuri's mentor and taught her the Flame Breathing technique, which she adapted into her own style to better suit his unique body structure.
