Nendoroid - Final Fantasy

The Final Fantasy franchise has spawned a variety of different products and toys. There have been a variety of different action figure and toy series released by several official and third-party manufacturers. However, many Final Fantasy and game figure fans are still waiting for the announcement and release of a Final Fantasy Nendoroid series line.

Nendoroid

Nendoroid refers to the small plastic figurines created by a Japanese company called Good Smile Company, established in 2006. Typically, the figurines are chibi representations of popular characters from various areas of Japanese popular culture, including anime, manga, video games, movies, and more. Nendoroid figurines are different from other figurines because, in their unique style, they usually have a large head and a small appearance, giving them a "kawaii" style appearance. Their shapes can be changed by changing and swapping different parts, giving them different poses and expressions. The brand offers several different shapes; the original Nendoroid figurines are 10 cm tall, but there are also Nendoroid Petite figurines. In addition to figurines, the company also offers various plush toys and customizable playsets. Some video games have been inspired by the Nendoroids created by Good Smile Co.

Final Fantasy Nendoroids

There is currently no agreement or partnership between the Good Smile company and Square Enix . However, Square Enix may have taken inspiration from Nendoroids and has its own version of figurines, called "Chibi" or Figurines, which are widely available on the official Square Enix website. Below you will find a description of the various Final Fantasy figurines that Square Enix offers, many figurines, as well as their chibi equivalent from the video games that are generally available.

Final Fantasy Chibi Figure Lineup

While fans of the Final Fantasy franchise are still waiting for a Nendoroid release of their favorite characters, Square Enix has released similar figures. This is the Final Fantasy Static Arts Mini series. A new line of cute and adorable little "chibi" style figures that stand approximately 5 inches tall. The costume and design are different for each character figure, except for the face because in this series, all figures have the same facial expression. This new series was released in conjunction with the new Final Fantasy VII Remake game. Currently, there are only three characters available: Cloud Strife None Sephiroth and Tifa Lockhart . In addition, the Final Fantasy series mascots, the Chocobo None Moogle and Cactuar are available in another series. Here is a brief description of each of the available figures.

Mini Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy Static Arts

The main character and protagonist of the Final Fantasy VII series, Cloud Strife , is one of the first figures available in the Static Arts Mini series.
