In the universe, we know that there are two timelines: the Sea Circle Age (海円暦, Kaienreki) and the Sky Age (天暦, Tenreki) timelines. This isn't a fully updated timeline, as it ends when the Onigashima raid begins, and since the Wano Country arc is over, we assume the timeline would need another update. But the Wano Country arc wasn't that long in-universe, so we assume the accurate number would be around two years and five months now, and that's about as far as we can tell about the length of Luffy's travels.
