The series tells the story of ninjas who have extraordinary powers and abilities that they use to fight against each other. About Orochimaru

Orochimaru is the first major antagonist that Naruto Uzumaki , the protagonist, encounters. Along with his team during the chunin exams, they fight Orochimaru, who has infiltrated the exams. However, they are unable to do anything and can only be defeated one-sidedly.

About Orochimaru: Background

Orochimaru was a young orphan with great potential. He was part of the same team as Tsunade Senju and Jiraiya under the leadership of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage. Hiruzen considered Orochimaru a genius because of his talent. Orochimaru threw himself into learning every technique he could, including kinjutsu, which are forbidden techniques. Jiraiya assumed this was to forget the painful memory of his parents' deaths. Orochimaru gradually became obsessed with power and immortality and slowly descended into evil.

Orochimaru was obsessed with power and coveted the position of Fourth Hokage. He wished to use this position to further his ambitions and experiments. However, the Third Hokage sensed his student's evil intentions and tried to dissuade him from evil, but failed. Instead, the Third Hokage appointed Minato Namikaze as his successor and Fourth Hokage. Blinded by anger and jealousy, Orochimaru continued his experiments with no intention of hiding. He experimented on prisoners as well as kidnapped Konoha citizens.

Orochimaru was later found red-handed by his teacher, experimenting on his fellow citizens. Sarutobi became furious and heartbroken as he watched his precious student fall to the dark side. Despite the immoral actions Sarutobi saw, he lacked the courage to kill his student. Orochimaru seized his chance and escaped death by becoming a nuke-nin. Having become an internationally wanted criminal, Orochimaru then joined the criminal organization Akatsuki.

Orochimaru is a very cunning character and would do anything to achieve his goals. He ignores any sort of moral compass and would gladly kidnap women and children if it merited it. Itachi Uchiha When he joined Akatsuki, Orochimaru thought it was his chance to steal his body and obtain the Sharingan. He was defeated by Itachi and left the organization, but he was still full of ambition. Orochimaru then founded his own hidden village called Otogakure.

Orochimaru is a highly skilled individual. Along with his teammates Tsunade and Jiraiya, they were dubbed the Legendary Sannin due to their strength. Orochimaru was highly talented and had enough power to be considered Hokage. He has a complex knowledge of ninjutsu as he wishes to learn all possible techniques and has even learned forbidden techniques and is an expert in this field.

Other important characters in Naruto

Orochimaru was an important figure in showing the main characters that there would always be people far above them. Even though their teacher, Kakashi Hatake, was known as a genius and powerful, there were still people stronger than him.

Tsunade Senju

Tsunade Senju is one of the last members of the Senju clan, the founders of Konoha. After the deaths of her loved ones and the chaos caused by the defection of her loyal teammate, Tsunade left Konoha with no intention of returning. She only returned after being convinced by Naruto to become the Fifth Hokage.

Jiraiya

Jiraiya He was an orphan like Orochimaru and the two bonded while they were on the same team. He felt betrayed by Orochimaru's defection and left Konoha for long periods of time. Jiraiya later became Naruto's mentor who was his last student and godson.
