Synopsis

Oracle: A fleet of colonies traveling through space in search of a habitable planet. The colony is organized by ARKS, a large organization whose goal is to explore and destroy the evil forces lurking in space, known as Falspawn, so that peace can one day be brought to the universe. On his first day as a cadet within the ARKS organization, Ash finds himself entangled in events that will later decide the fate of Oracle and the universe itself...

Background

Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle is a new anime series and the second anime adaptation based on the Phantasy Star Online game series. It will continue the story of "Episodes 1-3" of the original game and will also include an original story. It is directed by Masaki Tachibana at Studio Gonzo, with Hiroshi Onogi, Shigeru Morita, and Bunsei Asanuma writing the script, and Shinpei Koikawa designing the characters. The anime's opening theme song is "Destiny" by Aimee Blackschleger, and the ending theme song is "Timeless Fortune" by Mika Arisaka. The anime premiered in Japan on October 7 and will run for 25 episodes.
