Princess Principal

Summary

Announced in March 2017, Princess Principal is an original anime series set to premiere on July 9. Directed by Tachibana Masaki ( Barakamon None .hack//Quantum ) and written by Okouchi Ichiro ( Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress ), it is produced by Actas ( Girls and Tanks None Mazinkaiser SKL ) and Studio 3Hz ( Celestial Method None Dimension W ) with Tri-Slash responsible for 3D animation. The series will run for 12 episodes and will feature "The Other Side of the Wall" by Void_Chords feat. MARU as the opening theme and "A Page of My Story" sung by the five main characters as the ending theme.
A major highlight of Princess Principal's music will be composed by Kajiura Yuki, known for composing the soundtracks for many popular series, including Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, None , Sword Art Online , and Puella Magi Madoka Magica , his music projects FictionJunction and Kalafina, as well as his unique combination of classical music, pop, and supernatural voices.
Set in 19th-century London, a city in the fictional kingdom of Albion divided into East and West by a great wall running through the middle, this spy action series follows five girls who attend the prestigious Queen's Mayfair School as a cover for their missions.
The series also has a smartphone game in development titled, Princess Principal: Mission None Game

Main characters

Angie

Angie is a genius spy with artistic talent who often perplexes those around her with her far-fetched lies. She is generally not very friendly and doesn't talk much. Angie is voiced by Imamura Ayaka (Munemune from The Burning Ping-Pong Girls and Fuma Hina Aria the Scarlet Munition AA None

Princess

The gentle yet strong princess of the kingdom of Albion, she is well-liked by her people. The princess is voiced by Sekine Akira, who played Fujiwara Miyabi in Aikatsu!

Dorothy

Voiced by Taichi Yo (Yokoyama Anzu from Prison School and Pepperoni from Girls and Tanks ), Dorothy is Angie's partner as well as the team leader. She is a top-notch driver and marksman and also excels at using her charms to her advantage even though she is very pure.

Beatrice

An aristocrat who always stands by the princess, Beatrice has felt nothing but love and respect for the princess ever since she saved her life when she was little. She is voiced by Kageyama Akari, also known for her roles as Ebina Nana in Himouto! Umaru-chan and Chidorigafuchi Aine in Hybrid × Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia None.

Chise

A Japanese exchange student who, despite her small stature, is an excellent sword fighter. She tends to behave strangely due to her infatuation with Western culture. Chise is voiced by Furuki Nozomi (Yamamura Miwa from Barakamon and Chess Belle from Seraph of the End None).

Additional Characters

L

The leader of Control, a spy organization sent by the Republic to infiltrate the Kingdom of Albion. He is a man of few words and always keeps a cool head. He is voiced by Sugo Takayuki (Wanyudo from Hell's Daughter and Andragoras III from The Heroic Legend of Arslan None).

7 (Seven)

An analyst who sorts and reports information. She doesn't let her feelings get the better of her and remains calm even in the most unexpected situations. 7 is voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki, a popular voice actress known for her roles as Mine Fujiko in the Lupin III television series, Aruru from Utawarerumono , and Nanami Haruka from Uta no Prince-sama None.

Colonel

Sent to Control as a coordination officer, the Colonel believes that spies are inferior to the military because they work in the background as opposed to the military. He is voiced by Yamazaki Takumi (Miki from Initial D and Aries Mu from Saint Seiya None).

Duke of Normandy

A nobleman and lord of internal affairs, the Duke of Normandy wields considerable influence over police organizations and is one of the few people who can advise the queen. He is played by Hashi Takaya (Mendosa from Garo and Duke Inuarashi from One Piece None

Gazelle

Secretary to the Duke of Normandy, she always remains faithful to the mission at hand and does not lose her composure. She sometimes goes on missions of her own initiative. She is voiced by Iida Yuko (Azumi from The Girls and the Chariot movie and Yokosugi Tae from Keijô!!!!!!!! None
