Synopsis

The Nemeses have fallen from the sky and invaded the world. Those who came into contact with these monsters either died or joined a group of lucky survivors, and among these survivors is Seth. These survivors are capable of using magic as wizards and witches, and Seth devotes his powers not only to stopping the Nemeses, but also to finding and destroying their nest: Radiant.

Background

Season 2 of the anime will once again have 21 episodes and will see the return of a team including Seiji Kishi as director, Hiroki Fukuoka as series director, Makoto Uezu in charge of series composition, Nozomi Kawano as character designer and chief animation director, and Masato Kouta in charge of music. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 2, 2019.

Characters

Seth (Voiced by: Yumiri Hanamori)

Although he learned magic simply by watching, Seth hopes to become an incredible wizard by practicing his skills every day. He is clumsy and makes many mistakes, but continues to be cheerful and believe in himself. He grew horns after coming into contact with Nemeses, and his signature ability is his Titan Punch.

Melie (Voiced by: Aoi Yuuki)

Mélie is a tender-hearted witch with eye-catching red hair who serves Artemis Academy as an ambush hunter. She's relatively calm and maybe a little airheaded at times, but when her curse is activated, something truly frightening happens... She also specializes in protection magic and wants a friend!

Doc (Voice of: Shintaro Ohata)

A researcher at Artemis Academy. He was infected by Nemeses like Seth but chose not to study magic. He's as cowardly as they come and tries desperately to stay away from danger, but he always seems to get drawn into situations...

Alma (Voice of: Romi Park)

A seasoned witch and Seth's adoptive mother. She is a hunter who lives in an airship to observe the Nemeses with Seth. She doesn't believe that those who have come into contact with the Nemeses and those who haven't can understand each other. She is quick to anger but cares deeply for Seth.

Mr. Bobley (Voiced by: Makoto Koichi)

A cute creature who is sort of a friend to Mélie.

Dragunov (Voiced by Koji Yusa)

A dangerous officer who controls magic users and interrogates heretics. He appears easygoing at first, but he has an extremely deep sense of justice and is extremely talented at his job.

Dark (Voice of: Takehito Koyasu)

A mysterious figure clad entirely in bandages and known as Grim.

Master Lord Majesty (Voiced by: Kappei Yamaguchi)

The founder of the academy in the celestial city of Artemis, where magicians gather. At first glance, he looks like a cute little yellow cat, but he is debauched, brilliant, and frequently mistreats the people of Artemis.
