Ram is a maid at the Mathers Mansion along with her twin sister Rem. She is an oni with reddish-pink eyes and medium-length light pink hair that normally covers her left eye. Her hair is adorned with a maid headband as well as hair clips and a flower-shaped ribbon on the right side. She usually wears a maid uniform. She is slightly more outgoing than her younger sister, but both still tend to keep new acquaintances at a distance.
History
Ram and his sister Rem were born in an Oni village. As twins, they each possessed only one horn, unlike most other Oni who possess two. According to tradition, they were to be killed to protect the pride of the tribe and race. However, before the killing blow could be delivered, she displayed great power that shocked the village and delayed the execution. As the twins grew, so did Ram's powers, and she was considered a prodigy seen only once in millennia among the Oni.
In addition to her immense power, she also excelled in every activity she chose to undertake, from cooking to physical activities. Despite this, she was never arrogant about her abilities and even went out of her way to look after her little sister.
One night, six years before the story begins, her village was attacked by the Witch Cult. Ram fought fiercely even after all the villagers, except for her and her sister, were dead. Even outnumbered, she continued to fight to save Rem and eventually had her horn cut off her head. The two girls would then be saved by Roswaal, who took them into his home after the event. They both trained to be servants in the mansion, but Roswaal only confided certain truths to Ram about the attack on their village. She also learned that he possessed a gospel and allowed the attack on his village to occur to further his own plans. They entered into a contract that stipulated that her life would be his own if the future ever deviated from the gospel's predictions as penance.
Relationships
Rem - Ram cares a lot about his younger sister Rem. Throughout their time in the village, Ram always looked out for her and supported Rem to do her best. She never flaunted her superior skills, but instead encouraged Rem to be the best she could be. The day Subaru wakes up in the Mathers mansion, she freely admits that Ram is the best maid and is better at her job than her. In the timeline where Rem dies from a curse, Ram threatens Subaru with death for even withholding information about the incident. Unfortunately, after Rem's existence is erased by Batenkaitos Law, Ram completely forgets about his sister and is not bothered at all.
Roswaal L. Mathers - Roswaal saved both twins from death, along with their village. Over the time they spent together as master and servant, Ram grew to care deeply for Roswaal, even though their goals and ideologies didn't always align. Ram relies on Roswaal for regular injections of mana after losing his horn.
Subaru Natsuki - Ram and Subaru's relationship began under questionable circumstances due to the questionable time frame in which Subaru arrived at the Mathers Mansion, but she eventually warmed up to him. She helped him transition from more mundane tasks like teaching him to read and write to more harrowing events like fighting Demonic Beasts to save Rem. They are currently friendly friends, though she doesn't let him walk all over her and is often blunt in her advice.
Al -Ram and Al share some sort of past, although it hasn't been fully fleshed out at this point.
Oni Village - The village where Ram grew up treated her with reverence. Her father, Quark, and mother, Temae, cared deeply for her and were fiercely proud of their prodigal daughter's accomplishments and abilities.
SKILLS
Divine Protection of Clairvoyance - Ram is able to synchronize with the vision of those who have the same wavelength as her in order to see through their eyes. She is able to continuously switch between targets, allowing her to see over great distances. When she uses this ability, she is unable to defend herself and it causes her veins to become prominent, tears of blood to flow from one eye, and her legs to shake uncontrollably.
Magic - Ram is a skilled practitioner of wind magic and has been shown to be able to cast Fura None El Fura None Ul Fura , and Al-Fura None spells
Synesthesia - Both Ram and his sister share this ability and are able to sense each other's feelings through it.
Oni Lineage - Even with only one horn, Ram was considered a prodigy among the Oni tribe. Despite losing it, she can still transform into an Oni at the cost of great sacrifice to her physical form in order to easily access the great powers she once possessed.
Housekeeper - She is trained as a housekeeper for the Mathers mansion, though her younger sister Rem performs most of the daily tasks.
In addition to his skills and abilities, Ram wields a wand created from his horn by Roswaal. It acts as a mana conduit to reduce the burden of using magic.
