Synopsis
Kurumi Azuchimomoyama is a perfectly normal 14-year-old girl who attends Egaogaoka Middle School. One day, she is suddenly visited by "Devilun," an angel who resembles a Tasmanian devil. Devilun tells her that she has been chosen as the latest "Prima Angel," a beautiful, magical dinosaur angel warrior whose duty is to fight the "Whales of Darkness." Wielding blood-stained weapons, she proceeds to blindly purge the world of horrific monsters. Meanwhile, three boys (who are actually the protagonists of this hilarious comedy) watch without doing anything to help.

Grab Ganbare! Mahou Shoujo Kurumi is an original comedy anime series created by Abema TV. The first season premiered on July 29, 2017, and season 2 is scheduled to return in October 2018.

Kiyoshi Suzuki (Voice of: Yuu Hayashi)
Kiyoshi Suzuki is an ordinary middle school student. Quiet and serious, Kiyoshi is deeply interested in the antics of Kurumi and her cronies, and since they always manage to sort things out, he never gets scared, even when Gentleman Jacket shows up.
Isamu Takahashi (Voice of: Wataru Hatano)
Isamu Takahashi is a completely normal, albeit unruly, middle school student. He's always very excited by the crazy actions of Kurumi and her friends. His sad eyes seem to suit him quite well, although he's also extremely interested in "adult" content.
Shigeru Sato (Voice of: Takuma Terashima)
Shigeru Sato is an ordinary middle school student who is a bit of an otaku and generally in a daze. He keeps up with all the latest information about Prima Angel and Darkness Whales through internet research. Shigeru sometimes makes fun of Isamu and is usually found wearing indoor shoes.
Kurumi Azuchimomoyama / Prima Rose (Voice of: Yurika Kubo)
Kurumi Azuchimomoyama is a slightly clumsy but kind middle schooler. She wanted to keep her activities with the beautiful magical dinosaur angel warriors a secret, but she revealed everything. Her signature move is "Death Frisbee Sensation," and she fights with a thorny stick.
Mizuki Sangenshoku / Prima Cyan (Voice of: Hisako Kanemoto)
Mizuki Sangenshoku is a quiet and reserved middle school student. She became a member of the beautiful Magical Dinosaur Angel Warriors thanks to Kurumi's extremely insistent recruitment techniques. Her nearsightedness is cured when she transforms.
Mikan Unshuehima / Prima Orange (Voice of: Mai Aizawa)
Mikan Unshuehima is a high-energy, strong-willed middle school student. Before she knows it, Mikan has become a member of the beautiful, magical dinosaur angel warriors. She speaks with a fake Kansai accent.
Daimyojin of Ankoku (Voiced by: Seki Futoshi (Time Machine 3-go comic duo))
Ankoku Daimyojin is the leader of the secretive and evil organization Darkness Whales. When he thinks about how annoying humans are, he gathers energy-generating objects and transforms into his final form. He is surprisingly tolerant of his subordinates' mistakes.
Men's Jacket (Voice of: Daisuke Ono)
Gentleman Jacket is a mysterious man who appears when Kurumi gets into trouble. His true identity is Shinji Aokiyama, a university student. Aside from his suit, he has terrible fashion sense and his face is often distorted.
Pirate (Voiced by: Showtaro Morikubo)
Pirate is a high-ranking member of the Darkness Whales. His plan is to target the Prima Angels with nefarious schemes such as kidnapping, but he has been unsuccessful so far.
Karakuri (Voiced by: Showtaro Morikubo)
Karakuri is a high-ranking member of the Dark Whales and often fights with the Pirates but is weak against improvisations.
Devil (Voiced by: Keisuke Matsumoto, Chiwa Saito)
Devilun is the foul-mouthed Tasmanian devil angel who recruited Kurumi and the others into the Prima Angels. He is skilled with computers. In his awakened state, he has a slightly softer voice and becomes much more talkative. Devilun's main food source is wild rats and crows.
Previous Rivals (Voiced by: Chiwa Saito)
The previous rivals are a group of former Prima Angels who arrive at the last minute to help Kurumi when she gets into trouble. They are:
Prima Gold / Akane Kongouji: A haughty woman who fights with a bow.
Prima Shocking Pink / Nadeshiko Kyotendochi: A mischievous young woman with twin swords.
Prima Mecha / Ai Gakutensoku: A robot with machine guns in its arms.

A new Prima Angel appearing in Season 2.
