Shalltear Bloodfallen Overlord - Figures

The Overlord franchise is a dark fantasy novel series written by Kugane Maruyama. It was first published online on a website called Arcadia in 2010, and then on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2012. The latter website was later acquired by Enterbrain, a publishing division of Kadokawa Productions, which printed the first volume of the series in July 2012. Three years after the series' print release, an anime adaptation produced by the studio Madhouse aired on television starting in September 2015. Two more seasons were then approved and aired in January and July 2018, respectively. As the series' popularity grew among readers and viewers, so did fans' desire for merchandise. While there are many different types of merchandise for fans to choose from, one of the most popular forms of merchandise that fans enjoy collecting is figurines of their favorite characters. One such character is Shalltear Bloodfallen , the vampiric guardian of Floors 1-3. Overlord Shalltear Bloodfallen 1/7 Scale Figure

This Kaitendo scale figure depicts the proud true vampire, Shalltear Bloodfallen, as she stands elegantly poised holding a parasol over her shoulder. Her attire includes a dark purple gown and a large, Victorian-style purple and red round skirt lined with white lace. A large red ribbon is also attached to the top of her skirt and hangs below her knees. Part of Shalltear's head is covered by a hood that matches her gown, while her long silver hair is tied back in a ponytail with a ribbon that falls down and around her back. The parasol she holds is glossy black and red, giving it a rather shiny finish.

Overlord Shalltear Swimsuit Version 1/7 Scale Figure

This unique eStream figure shows Shalltear wearing a swimsuit, which reveals much more of her pale, porcelain skin than she's used to. She sits on a crimson rose with one arm held under her chest and the other raised behind her head, creating a rather charming pose. While she usually wears her hair in a ponytail, this figure changes things up by putting her hair in two ponytails that fall to the floor. Her expression is also rather unexpected, as the proud and confident expression one might expect is replaced by an embarrassed and vulnerable one. The swimsuit Shalltear is wearing is taken from her original outfit, as it shares the same color scheme and lace trim. The base of the figure also features an intricate spiral pattern of water and blood, hinting at Shalltear's vampiric nature. Overall, this figure may be quite expensive, but its attention to detail and unique outfit are sure to make fans of the character want to add it to their collection.

This scale figure set from eStream includes the aforementioned Shalltear swimsuit figure and a matching swimsuit figure of the succubus, Albedo. Both figures capture the most alluring and seductive sides of both Albedo and Shalltear. On one side, there's the more mature Albedo, who wears a white two-piece swimsuit that perfectly contrasts with her jet-black wings. On the other side, however, there's the petite Shalltear, who wears a black and pink one-piece swimsuit. As a bonus, this set also includes a double-sided dakimakura (body pillow) cover with Albedo's and Shalltear's swimsuit designs on it.

About Shalltear Bloodfallen

Shalltear Bloodfallen is one of the Floor Guardian NPCs of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. She was created by Peroroncino, one of the members of Robe Ainz Ooal's guild. As one of the few true vampires in the series, she is far more powerful and—when she shows her true form—monstrous than the much more common minor vampires found in Overlord . Generally speaking, Shalltear is very proud of her position as Floor Guardian and takes it very seriously, which makes her easily frustrated and angry at her own failures. While she is quite flirtatious towards many different characters, she has a naive side that sometimes shines through.

Other important characters in Overlord

The relationship between Shalltear and Ainz Ooal Robe is rather unusual. Although Shalltear greatly respects Ainz as the leader of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Shalltear is deeply in love with Ainz and desires to be the object of his affection. However, due to Ainz's undead nature, he has little interest in his advances. Shalltear is also the romantic rival of Albedo , who often vies with Shalltear for Ainz's attention. This romantic rivalry can sometimes escalate into violence, with the two unafraid to hurt each other despite Albedo being Shalltear's direct superior.
