Shirogane Noel is a female VTuber knight from Hololive 's third generation, also known as Hololive Fantasy. With her kind and caring personality and unwavering determination to see things through, she has amassed a devoted fanbase and followers in the VTuber community.

Although Noel streams a wide variety of different content, she is primarily known for her gaming streams. That said, she has also hosted English language learning streams and numerous ASMR streams, which, due to her soothing voice and relaxed demeanor, have become some of the most popular on her channel.

Although Noel made her official YouTube debut on August 8, 2019, she first introduced herself on her Twitter account a week earlier, on August 1. Her Twitter introduction allowed Hololive fans to find her channel even before her debut, which helped Noel reach over 10,000 subscribers before her first stream. On November 17, Noel revealed her 3D model and simultaneously reached 100,000 subscribers on her channel. In early January 2020, Noel was among the Hololive members who temporarily lost monetization on their channels due to YouTube's unusually strict treatment of VTuber ASMR content. She later regained monetization at the end of the month. Throughout 2020, Noel's YouTube channel continued to grow rapidly, going from around 150,000 subscribers at the end of 2019 to over 700,000 at the end of 2020.

Physical description of Shirogane Noel

Shirogane Noel is a young woman with shoulder-length silver hair and green eyes. Her primary attire is heavily inspired by the stereotypical gear of a fantasy adventurer and includes a cream and navy blue battle dress outfitted with various pieces of black and gold metallic armor. This armor covers part of her shoulders, chest, and both arms and legs. Her primary attire also includes a thick leather utility belt and a mace, which she usually keeps strapped to her side.

Noel also has several alternate outfits that she has received throughout her career. The first is her New Year's dress, which consists of a blue kimono decorated with a variety of different flowers and patterns. This kimono is also tied with a dark blue obi accented with green. In this outfit, her hair is also tied back and is decorated with a pair of white and blue flowers. Her second alternate outfit is a casual Western-style dress. This outfit shows Noel wearing a cream-colored, short-sleeved top tucked into a dark skirt. It also includes a pair of matching glasses and a small purse that Noel carries across her shoulder.

As her chivalrous nature might suggest, Noel is a determined and hardworking young woman who always does her best in everything she does. To further emphasize the chivalrous and powerful side of her character, she likes to portray herself as a muscle-bound woman who loves meat in general, but especially gyudon (beef bowls). Her determination also shines through quite often when she plays games. This is especially evident in her Overcome It streams, where she manages to overcome her mounting frustrations to finish the game. That said, she also has a feminine side that she isn't afraid to show. When talking with her viewers, she is usually presented as calm, patient, and tolerant. Noel is also incredibly close to Shiranui's Flame and can be incredibly protective of her when others end up getting a little too friendly.

Shirogane Noel is a member of Hololive Production, a VTuber agency that manages over 50 individual VTubers from around the world. Motoaki "Yagoo" Tanigo, the CEO of the agency's parent company, Cover Corporation, founded the agency after being inspired by the success of virtual characters like Kizuna Ai and Hatsune Miku as well as idol groups like AKB48. Monster Hunter Rise is a game that quickly spread through the Hololive community after its release on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. Shortly after, on April 3, Noel hosted his first stream of the game and noted that it was his very first experience with the series as a whole. Currently, Noel's primary weapon is the hammer, which fans found somewhat ironic due to his bulky, hard-hitting playstyle and the fact that the default hammer resembles the mace Noel keeps at his side.
