He was abandoned when he was young and was found in a treasure chest by Roger and Rayleigh when he was only 1 year old. This only happened because Roger stole the chest during the God Valley incident.

Besides all the chaos Uta seems to cause (intentionally or not), there's another random but interesting fact Oda mentioned about her character: her hair falls out when she's sad and rises up when she's happy!
Kizaru and Fujitora
Kizaru is very eager to witness Shanks' Haki in One Piece Film Red, stating "So... this is Yonko Shanks' Haki..." He does not hesitate to try to kill any citizen who attacks him in One Piece Film Red, using his laser beam as they attack the Marines, though he is stopped from doing so by Beckman.

Monster

Howling Gab fights in a truly strange but effective way, as he fires a laser-like roar from his mouth, which can cut through enemies. While Howling Gab has an imposing physique and a vicious attack style, he actually has a very kind heart: he hates bugs and ghosts.
Construction snake
Building Snake is the navigator of the Red Hair Pirates, and he enjoys fighting with a unique "dual-sword juggling style," performing delicate moves similar to those of an acrobat. He plays a leading role in the crew, but has also monitored Luffy and Uta's growth from afar.
Lime juice
Limejuice fights with weapons that emit electric shocks, such as the electric bat he wields. He can use a Geppo similar to Sanji's Sky Walk to attack from above.
