Takahiro Sakurai (櫻井孝宏, Sakurai Takahiro), was born on June 13, 1974 in Okazaki, Aichi, Japan. Sakurai is a voice actor affiliated with the dubbing agency 81 Produce and has been active since 1996. He voices Giyu Tomioka in Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) . The roles he plays are mainly those of handsome and charming characters such as Sting from Fairy Tail, Crusty from Log Horizon, Osomatsu Matsuno and of course, Giyu Tomioka None

His most well-known roles as a voice actor for television anime include Suzaku Kururugi in Code Geass, Tentomon in Digimon, McGillis Fareed in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Rohan Kishibe in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Shougo Makishima in Psycho-Pass, and Griffith in Berserk. Giyu Tomioka

Giyu Tomioka from Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) is a powerful swordsman and one of the Demon Slayer Pillars who always has a serious expression on his face with a reserved and cool personality.

Giyu has a strong sense of justice and does not hesitate to slaughter demons, though he spared Nezuko Kamado 's life due to what he saw in Tanjiro Kamado's efforts to keep her alive and restore her to human form.

He keeps his distance from those around him and is very individual with few words and little interaction with people. Despite his aloof and stoic nature, he is shown to be a protective and caring person towards those close to him. In Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer manga Chapter 46, he is seen risking his life to save Tanjiro and Nezuko by vowing to commit seppuku (cutting his stomach) if the latter ever ate a human, thus showing his fair and strict personality towards himself.
