The Female Titan Arc - Attack on Titan
The Female Titan Arc is the fourth and final story arc of Season 1 of the Attack on Titan anime series, taking place over the course of episodes 14 to 25, and the fourth story arc of the Attack on Titan manga , from chapters 19 to 34.
The Female Titan Arc Part 1
Season 1, Episode 14 – “I Can’t Look Him in the Eye Yet: The Day Before the Counterattack, Part 1”

It is decided that a trial will be held to determine Eren's fate. While Military Police Commander Nile Dawk believes Eren poses a danger to humanity and calls for a death sentence, Commander Erwin Smith and Commander Dot Pyxis discuss an alternative option for Eren that they wish to propose during the trial.
Arguments ensue at the trial, where Mikasa and Armin testify as witnesses. Captain Levi Ackermann Commander Erwin brutally beats Eren, knocking out one of his teeth when he calls the officers cowards. Commander Erwin offers to take Eren on a mission, the outcome of which will decide Eren's fate. The head of the three military branches, Dhalis Zachary, agrees, and Eren is returned to his cell.
As Hange Zoe, she tends to Eren's wounds and chastises Levi for pushing his punishment too far, though Eren agrees with Levi that it was necessary. She also notices that his tooth has already grown back.
The Female Titan Arc Part 2
Season 1, Episode 15 – “Special Operations Squadron: The Eve of the Counterattack, Part 2”

Captain Levi and the Special Operations Team take Eren to the headquarters of the former Reconnaissance Regiments, where he trains to learn how to control his newfound power and prove his usefulness to military command. Hange Zoe conducts experiments on the two Titans captured during the fight for the Trost District, named Sawney and Bean, and discovers that Titans require sunlight to live and do not appear to have organs. The next day, they are found dead, killed by an unknown soldier.

An investigation is conducted into the deaths of Sawney and Bean, but the crime remains unsolved. Commander Erwin Smith instructs the Scout Regiment that their expedition next month will return to the Shiganshina District to discover what secret lies hidden in Eren Jaeger's basement, and if it explains his Titan power.
Female Titan Arc Part 4
Season 1, Episode 17 – “Female Titan: The 57th External Reconnaissance Mission, Part 1”

The 57th Expedition begins and the Reconnaissance Regiment assembles a long-range reconnaissance group, where small groups travel a certain distance around the main wagon, using flares to signal if any Titans are nearby. After Armin's squad kills an Abnormal Titan, theFemale Titan appears, killing his entire squad, but leaving Armin safe once she sees its face. He is retrieved by Reiner and Jean , and realizes that the Female Titan's target is Eren.
Female Titan Arc Part 5

Krista Lenz meets Reiner, Armin, and Jean with more horses, and they continue the expedition, which is now heading towards the Forest of Giant Trees in an attempt to escape the Female Titan. Eren expects his squad to attack the Female Titan as it approaches, and is confused when Captain Levi only fires his flare gun.

Eren's squad advances, and Eren is distraught that he is not fighting as much of the rearguard is killed by the Female Titan. Eren accidentally transforms while picking up a spoon, leading Hange Zoe to believe that he can also transform if his desire to achieve a goal is strong enough. The squad follows Levi's plan, not fighting back but trapping the Female Titan with their grappling hooks.
Female Titan Arc Part 7
Season 1, Episode 20 – “Erwin Smith: The 57th External Reconnaissance Mission, Part 4”

Commander Erwin and Captain Levi attempt to determine the Female Titan's true identity while she is still immobilized, but they discover that the Female Titan can crystallize her skin, rendering them unable to cut her neck to see who is inside. The Female Titan's screams attract nearby Titans, who devour much of the team and the Female Titan's body. Later, the Female Titan in her human form kills Gunther Schultz.

The Female Titan continues to pursue Eren's squad in her Titan form, disguising herself as a member of the Scout Regiment to avoid suspicion. Another attack is launched against her when she reappears, but manages to use her regenerative abilities to heal her wounds and kills three members of the Scout Regiment. Eren transforms and fights the Female Titan, but ultimately loses when the Female Titan decapitates her Titan form, swallowing her human body whole.

Captain Levi and Mikasa pursue the Female Titan, and Levi injures his leg after weakening the Female Titan, finally stopping it. Mikasa retrieves Eren's body, and they leave the critically injured Female Titan, unable to follow. They retreat to the safety of Wall Sina and are told that a final decision regarding Eren's fate will be made in the Capital.

Annie Leonhart She dreams of her father training her and wakes up in the Stohess District with the Military Police, who are tasked with escorting the Reconnaissance Regiment through the capital. Armin asks Annie for help in getting Eren out of the capital, and she agrees. When they arrive at the tunnels Eren will be using, she refuses to enter for fear of being trapped. It is revealed that Annie is the Female Titan, confirming Armin's suspicions. She transforms and begins attacking them.

It is revealed that Eren's escape from the capital was part of Commander Erwin and Armin's plan to confirm Annie's true identity as a Female Titan. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin narrowly avoid being trapped beneath the collapsed tunnel, and Eren unsuccessfully attempts to transform due to his conflicting feelings for Annie. Armin reminds Eren of his purpose and his mother's death, and Eren manages to transform once more, charging at Annie and crashing into a cathedral.

The worshippers inside the cathedral are crushed to death, leaving only the priest alive. Eren eventually overpowers Annie with Mikasa's help, and Annie encases herself in crystal, entering a coma so she cannot be interrogated. Commander Erwin accepts responsibility for the damage his plan causes to the city and is arrested by Nile. Following the destruction of the battle, a small section of Wall Sina is revealed, revealing the face of a massive Titan within.
