Tomoko Kuroki Watashi ga Motenai no wa dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! -Nendoroid
The English name of the popular series, "Watashi ga Motenai no wa dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!" would be "No matter how I look at it, it's your fault that I'm not popular!" Due to its long title, it is often shortened and called Watamote. This is an anime series that was released on July 8, 2013. The authors of this series are known by the pen name Tanigawa Nico and they are a writer and artist duo. Together, they have written many popular series, but the most well-known is Watamote. The story depicts the life of a girl who has difficulty communicating with others. Tomoko Kuroki is a high school student who thought she would become popular as soon as she entered high school, but real life is completely different. Her one-sided thoughts stemmed from her long hours spent playing love simulation games and left her unable to talk to real men. At school, she is a friendless loner and tries various things to improve her reputation. The embarrassing and painful actions she undertakes have made her a popular character with many fans who cheer her on and want to support her. One of the popular products made based on her design is the Nendoroid figure called "Tomoko Kuroki Nendoroid."
Nendoroid figure of Tomoko Kuroki
The almost painful-to-look-at Tomoko arrives as a small Nendoroid. Her outfit is identical to the one in the series, and she wears her school uniform and black tights. The sculptor has perfectly recreated Tomoko's shaggy, messy black hair, as many parts of it stick out, showing that she hasn't taken care of it. There are two different hairpieces to enjoy: one with her bangs covering her eye, or her bangs parted to show both eyes.
Tomoko's Nendoroid comes with three different facial expressions that perfectly embody her personality. The first is her standard smiling face with dark circles under her eyes. The second is a very stressed expression as her mouth is wide open and her eyes are large and unfocused. Finally, she has a perverted expression as she leers and blushes while thinking naughty thoughts. There are also various optional features to recreate memorable moments. These include her backpack, ripped underwear, massager, naked butler DVD, torn paper with the word "reality" on it, and alternate hand parts.
