Due to its long title, it is often shortened and called Watamote. This is an anime series that was released on July 8, 2013. The authors of this series are known by the pen name Tanigawa Nico and they are a writer and artist duo. Together, they have written many popular series, but the most well-known is Watamote. The story depicts the life of a girl who has difficulty communicating with others. Tomoko Kuroki is a high school student who thought she would become popular as soon as she entered high school, but real life is completely different.
