Tsurezure Children
SUMMARY
High school is hard enough for students who are just blossoming, but what happens when love gets in the way? Follow the charming and sometimes awkward situations six students find themselves in as they try to navigate the unfamiliar landscape of first love.
BACKGROUND
Originally published online by Toshiya Wakabayashi in 2012, it was picked up for serialization by Weekly Shounen Magazine in 2015. Published by Kodansha, there are currently 7 volumes in Japan, with the 8th coming out on June 16. Kodansha Comics is also publishing the series digitally for its English readers.
BROADCAST INFORMATION
"Tsuredure Children" will premiere on July 4, 2017, in Japan. Broadcast on TOKYO MX, SUN TV, and BS11, each episode will be 15 minutes long. The opening theme song will be performed by Inori Minase, while the ending theme song will be performed by Yui Ogura.
CHARACTERS
Chizuru Takano
Chizuru is part of a music club and doesn't really care what others think of her. She also seems to suffer from self-confidence issues.
Takurou Sugawara
Takurou is part of the soccer club and is a good-natured person who often needs to show bravery or courage to pursue what he wants.
Ryouko Kaji
Ryouko doesn't belong to any clubs, but always seems involved in Masafumi's student council activities. For some reason, she tends to come across as tough.
Masafumi Akagi
Masafumi is the student council president. He has a straightforward personality, and others find him cool. Because of his poker face, you never know what he's really thinking.
Gouda Takeru
Takeru is a member of the volleyball team and has an overly serious personality. Extremely oblivious to other people's feelings and things like love, he always misses the mark and reacts completely wrongly when it comes to Ayaka.
Ayaka Kamine
Ayaka is a member of the tea club and the shyest of the group. Since Takeru is too stupid to notice her declaration of love, she constantly worries about their relationship day after day.
