Vegeta Dragon Ball Z - Figures

The years 1989 to 1996 brought the world of Dragon Ball Z , which would go on to become one of the most influential pop culture phenomena of all time. After quickly becoming a flagship anime and manga series in Japan, Dragon Ball Z paved the way for anime to spread worldwide. Son Goku is a lovable character in his own right, no good series is complete without a rival for the protagonist, which is where Vegeta comes in. While he shines in his roles in the manga and anime, Vegeta also does particularly well in the world of collectible figures.

Vegeta (Dragon Ball Z Super Structure Collection Vol. 1)

This figure features Vegeta glaring angrily at his friends and foes while wearing his favorite blue, white, and gold Saiyan armor. His pose is the very definition of arrogance, as he stands with his arms crossed, chin down, and feet apart. Even in his base, black-haired form, Vegeta still looks as dominant as ever. This figure pays special attention to Vegeta's face and muscles to give them enough detail to make the figure look like it came straight out of the anime.

Vegeta, the Super Saiyan God (Dragon Ball Z Blood of Saiyans Special Ver. Vol. 7)

After learning that Goku had become a Super Saiyan, Vegeta went to train alone in the cosmos in hopes of achieving the legendary form himself. After much internal struggle and feelings of inferiority, he finally achieved his goal. This was ultimately only a stepping stone, however, as Vegeta would later gain the ability to transform into the faster and stronger red-haired Super Saiyan God form. The methods he used to achieve this are unknown, but he may have managed to learn how to use it while training with Whis on Beerus's planet. This figure depicts Super Saiyan God Vegeta posed in a dynamic action pose as if he were in the middle of an attack. One leg appears to have been used to jump off the ground while one arm is pulled back in preparation to strike his opponent. Vegeta's face also shows a tense screaming expression, further adding to the intense mood the figure gives off.

Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegeta (Super Dragon Ball Heroes 9th Anniversary Figure :)

With the rise of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, an incredible influx of reimagined characters and their variants have joined the Dragon Ball character roster. One such character is the awesome Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegeta, who hails from an entirely separate continuity from Dragon Ball where the events of Dragon Ball GT actually took place. In Super Dragon Ball Heroes, both Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Goku appear, but are struck with awe when the original Goku and Vegeta display Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct. This version of Xeno Vegeta features him after his Super Saiyan 4 transformation, which is a rather drastic visual departure from previous Super Saiyan forms. The form gives Vegeta a red Saiyan tail and fur growing around his back and sides. Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta also has significantly longer hair than his base form. In this figure, he is given an action pose with his right arm extended behind him, as if he were about to fire an energy blast at his opponent.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta (Dragon Ball Super Movie - Ultimate Soldiers Vol. 3 :)

Few enemies can stand up to Vegeta, but when they prove to be a challenge, he always has his Super Saiyan Blue form at the ready. After training with Whis and his time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber during the Goku Black Dragon Ball Super saga, Vegeta had perfected his form. This Banpresto figure attempts to recreate the battle between Vegeta and Broly in the Dragon Ball Super movie. Vegeta is in a pose where he flies through the air with one fist raised and ready to punch an invisible Broly. Toyotaro's design really stands out when comparing this Vegeta to his older versions.

About Vegeta

Vegeta is the prince of the Saiyan warrior race. Although he was born into royalty and destined to rule over his people, Frieza destroyed his home planet and many of the people who lived there out of fear of a Saiyan uprising. The prince vowed revenge one day and eventually traveled to Earth to use the Dragon Balls to gain immortality and overthrow the monster that wiped out his home. However, after losing to Goku, he became a rival figure. This would ultimately prove to be the best thing for Vegeta, as it set him on a path to redemption that eventually led to him becoming one of the main characters alongside Goku himself.
