Vegito Dragon Ball Super - Figures

After airing for a solid seven years on Japanese television, Dragon Ball Z became a national sensation. It wasn't until its broadcast in the United States and Europe that it spread and gained worldwide fame. With all the hallmarks of a typical shonen jump story, Dragon Ball takes it a step further with its captivating drama and character development. Dragon Ball is also infamous for its continuous buildup of power, where the villains who appear next are always much stronger than the heroes. Sometimes so much so that new techniques and special attacks have to be invented. In a stroke of creative genius, the idea of merging two of the series' strongest fighters to create a single, immensely overpowered character was also formulated, resulting in Vegito. This character is the fusion of the main character Son Goku and his rival Vegeta. Despite his surprisingly short screen time, Vegito has joined the ranks of the series' most beloved characters. Here are four best-selling Vegito figures that show him in different forms and attacks, such as his Super Saiyan Blue form, his Super Saiyan form, and his iconic Final Kamehameha attack.

Vegetto Super Saiyan (Dragon Ball Z Blood of Saiyans Special Ver. Vol. 8)

With his arms crossed and his kicks flying at light speed, Vegito absolutely dominates Super Buu. Although the initial plan was to have Goku fuse with Gohan to defeat Super Buu, Gohan dropped his Potara earring and was subsequently absorbed by Super Buu himself. The only options left were Dende and Mr. Satan. Just as Goku was about to throw the earring at Mr. Satan, Vegeta appeared. Eventually, Goku persuaded Vegeta to fuse, resulting in Vegito. Transforming into his Super Saiyan form shortly after the fusion allowed him to completely outclass Super Buu.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegetto (Ichiban Dragon Ball Extreme Figure)

Super Saiyan Blue was the most powerful form anyone had ever used until the Tournament of Power. Until the release of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, Vegito was the most powerful fusion character. Therefore, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito is an extremely powerful character. After fighting a fused Zamasu and losing miserably, Goku and Vegeta decide to use the Potara earrings to fuse again. After fusing, the fused Zamasu is nothing compared to Super Saiyan Blue Vegito. This Vegito figure simply stands still with a powerful aura of confidence as he dons one of his gloves with a smirk on his face. With a combination of Vegeta's boots and gloves and Goku's reversed Turtle School gi, Vegito is the perfect combination of Goku and Vegito.

Super Vegito (Ichiban Dragon Ball Rising Fighters Figure)

Before being transformed into candy by Super Buu, Vegito completely overwhelms the mysterious opponent. Buu, realizing that there is obviously no chance of defeating Vegito, transforms him into a coffee-flavored jawbreaker. Vegito retains his power and intelligence and, ironically, just becomes smaller and harder to hit. Continuing to humiliate Super Buu as a coffee-flavored jawbreaker, Buu eventually decides to revert him back to his normal form before attempting to absorb him by entering his body. This also doesn't work, as Vegito uses his ki to isolate Buu in parts of his body to punch him. Buu leaves Vegito's body, injured and tired. He eventually grows tired of being stabbed, blasted, kicked, and punched and tries to absorb Vegito again.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegetto (Dragon Ball Super Vegito: Final Kamehameha)

What happens when Goku's signature Kamehameha fuses with Vegeta's Final Flash attack? Super Saiyan Vegito's Final Kamehameha is the answer. The Final Kamehameha would be the answer to almost every conflict in the Dragon Ball universe, as it is one of the most powerful attacks on screen. Charging for maximum power, Vegito stands for a few moments before vaporizing the fused Zamasu when, unfortunately, the fusion wears off due to the shortened time frame caused by an immense power drain.

About Vegito

Vegito is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta via Potara earrings. Potara earrings are given to a Kai when they complete their training and take their position as a god in the universe. The earrings placed on opposite ears, however, can cause a fusion of two characters. While the fusion between divine entities like the Kai is permanent, the fusion of mortals via the mystical earrings has a one-hour time limit. When Supreme Kai and Kibito fused, they were unaware of the fusion's permanence; they were only informed afterward. Old Kai made the same mistake when he was younger, as he was tricked into fusing with the old witch. However, when Vegito uses his Super Saiyan Blue form, the energy drain is so massive that the one-hour time limit is drastically reduced, resulting in a premature defusion. Seeing as Vegito is the fusion of two mortals and is therefore unstable, Vegito speaks simultaneously with the voices of both Vegeta and Goku, while Kibito Kai only has one voice.

Notice

Interestingly, even though Vegito's appearance time in Dragon Ball Z and again in Dragon Ball Super is incredibly short (around four episodes and then around twelve minutes respectively), he has enjoyed incredible popularity. Appearing in almost every iteration of the Dragon Ball video games and having high-end figures, Vegito often appears alongside his Metamoran fusion dance counterpart, Gogeta .
