He is known for his captivating and seductive nature. One of his strengths is his ability to create new and breathtaking programs that touch the audience's hearts. He is very free-spirited and easygoing and doesn't like being told what to do. This doesn't always sit well with him, and he often shouts in exasperation.

Although he is a living legend, he is considered a bit careless and often forgets many things. He also knows what he is capable of and is able to use his strengths to the fullest to captivate his audience. Victor and Yuri first meet after Victor sees a video of Yuri copying an advanced skating routine that Victor had previously performed. He comes to Japan to visit Yuri and offers to coach him and help revive Yur's skating career. Yuri has been a huge fan of Victor since childhood and is his inspiration for skating. Yuri's goal as a figure skater was to reach or surpass Victor's level.

Yuri Plisetsky

As a child, Yuri Plisetsky greatly admired and idolized Victor. They both trained at the same rink, as they had both been coached by Yakov. Victor first noticed Yuri when he attempted a quadruple salchow during a competition, which was forbidden because Yuri was too young and his body could not handle such intense jumps. Victor offered to choreograph a program for Yuri if he won a competition without a quadruple jump. This motivated Yuri to work harder as a figure skater. Yuri's idolatry for Victor disappeared when he gave up competitive skating to become Yuri's coach.
