About Wraith

Wraith is a playable character available in the base version of Apex Legends, released on February 4, 2019. She is one of six different characters that were immediately playable at the start of the game upon the base version's release. Here's a brief overview of the character.

Background

Wraith, also known as Renee H. Blasey, is both mysterious and deadly. Her story begins with the loss of her memory after waking up in the IMC mental health facility. She heard distant voices in her head that kept her awake, driving her insane. One day, her life changed dramatically when a portal opened in front of her, revealing a person wearing a purple helmet. The person berated Renee for not fighting back, revealing that they came from another dimension. They wanted revenge on the people who had experimented on them, freeing Wraith from the confines of the facility. With the help of this mysterious figure, Wraith learned to trust the voices in her head and manipulate the void to her advantage. She then embarked on a journey to learn more about her past, no matter the cost.

Special Abilities

Wraith's abilities rely on her ability to manipulate the void. She's an offensive Legend, which means she's a great choice for players who want to be the one dealing damage to the enemy team. She can move quickly thanks to her Into the Void ability, which makes her unable to take damage for a short time. Wraith can hear voices from the void, which warn her when danger is nearby. She's also able to use a dimensional rift, connecting two separate locations for 60 seconds. Other players can also pass through this rift.
