About Wraith
Wraith is a fighter with the ability to attack and manipulate space-time. Additionally, she is valuable in combat due to her ability to reposition and flank enemies.
About Wraith: Background
Wraith's real name is Renee Blasey. One day, she wakes up in an IMC mental health facility with no memory of her previous life. She also begins hearing a voice in her head that keeps her awake. This nearly drives Wraith insane.
One day, she meets an alternate version of herself who opens a portal to her current location. She discovers that the alternate version of herself is on a quest to discover what happened to her. With its help, Wraith can trust the voices in her head and safely manipulate the void.
She manages to escape the facility by teleportation and arrives at Kings Canyon (where the Apex Games will take place). Wraith eventually decides to join the Apex Games to access the old research facility buried beneath the Apex Games arena. She sets out on a quest to uncover the experiments being performed on herself and discover who she is. Due to her experience in the facility and her travels through countless dimensions, she has witnessed many disturbing scenes, which has given rise to her jaded personality.
About Wraith: Abilities
Like other Apex Legends characters, she has three types of abilities: tactical, passive, and ultimate. Her tactical ability is called "Into the Void." This ability allows her to move using void space for 4 seconds, and while using void space, she cannot take damage. Entering the void also grants her a 30% speed boost. However, it leaves a thin blue trail indicating the path Wraith takes.
Her passive ability allows her to hear voices coming from the void. These voices warn Wraith when danger is approaching. For example, the voice will tell Wraith when an enemy is aiming, when a sniper rifle is aiming, when traps are nearby, when enemies are nearby, and how many people are dead nearby.
Wraith is also capable of creating a dimensional rift. This allows her to place a portal in two locations, connecting the two portals and allowing movement between the two entry points. The portal lasts for 60 seconds. This is a powerful and valuable ability to have when fighting people at close range or when you decide to tackle a team head-on.
Other important characters in Apex Legends
You'll find that Apex Legends is known for its unique characters. Some of the most popular characters in the game are Mirage and Pathfinder, who are also known to be Wraith's friends, and the other is Lifeline, who is Wraith's polar opposite.
Lifeline
Lifeline is a doctor who has dedicated her life to helping others. Lifeline and Wraith are on opposite ends of the spectrum, with Lifeline's sarcastic personality and Wraith's dull and cynical nature. The contrast between the two is also evident in their abilities. Lifeline is other-focused, while Wraith would be at the forefront of the team, taking the lead.
Mirage
Mirage, like Wraith, is an offensive character who can confuse and distract his enemies. He can deploy a holographic decoy of himself or decoys that mirror his movements. He is also a friend of Wraith. Their friendship began when Wraith saved Mirage from Caustic, and in return, Mirage saved Wraith from Bangalore. The two have had a strong friendship ever since.
Scout
Pathfinder is known for being very friendly to everyone. He is a reconnaissance legend and is very helpful when traveling and is a key support character. He is known to be close friends with Mirage and through him, he is also close friends with Wraith. We often see Pathfinder supporting and teaming up with Wraith, showing the strong friendship between the two.
